I was at the Imo state Police HQ to get the new tinted permit for my car and I was asked to pay 12 thousand naira or leave. I also heard of similar cases in other states

We were told that it is free of charge and why are they requesting for money.

Also the data capturing gadgets are not sufficient for the number of applicants thereby making the whole process so hectic and frustrating.

Lets all come together with one voice and tweet the nigeria police force to be sincere and review the whole process.

Now that the deadline has elapsed, can anyone share his/her experience with police at check points; especially during inter-states journeys

Seems like every IG comes up with their own peculiar method of extorting innocent citizens who have no recourse against recalcitrant Law Enforcement Officers . . .

My own experience is that I was asked to pay #7k as processing fee. Just ignored it and left the thing for them.

Someone on here posted that it has been extended to August, can anyone confirm?.
