This is so wrong. I mean, it is these kind of humans that make people shy away from helping those genuinely in need of help

Bleaching expert Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, popularly know as "Nigeria's Male Barbie" took to his Facebook to publish a very disturbing text message he got from someone he helped financially.

This evil person in question requested N100,000 from Idris to cover his/her mother's hospital bills. Olarenwaju sent N50,000 .


Rather than be grateful, the unnamed recipient blasted Idris, calling him a fool.

No be today they don dey scam d guy Na... Na dos scam ish that caused the row between him n one of my niggas in my area. He was crushing on the guy n the guy used the opportunity to scam him of 150k.

Well I once helped a stranger with money for hospital bills.

And the cash was used for the purpose it was given.

(Even got a free ride from one of the guy's relations who was a taxi driver some nine months afterwards.).

for all those insulting thsoe that percieve it as being a publicity stunt...how come u never told peoole u did all dese favours for strangers before now? cos u obviously did it out of d good of ur heart and expect no favour back...why him dey tell us? to get public sympathy? what den is a publicity stunt?

Those of u dat claimed to av helped strangers...did d strangers send an anonymous text message or u saw dem in person...even enough to be able to get a free ride from a relative of such person.

for us percieving that its a publicity stunt, we simply argue that an anonymous text/request without any conversation either in form of curiousity or worry on the part of the helper, seems fishy! Except of course the helper has fish brain!

Looks like a stunt to me. Why didn't she send the account number through SMS?

Those people saying it's a publicity stunt should please shut up!! I can relate to this story and I know of people who helped complete strangers too. What about some of the scam fundraisers and charity websites online? We don't know who wrote those stories personally, yet we donate to their cause. Scammers are just heartless and they make good people change their views about life and people.
