This particular photo is capable of bringing out all the wrong emotions in you if you not careful! You have to try your very best to be in charge of your own emotions as you gaze upon these pics even as you ask yourself, why would a man old enough to her father or maybe grandfather Bow his head so low to greet and give a handshake?

Mrs Lara Oshiomhole is not Royalty or queen of any Nation on earth, she is simply the wife of the executive Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and also first lady to the State. In view of her position, you can greet her with a hand shake and a little bow as a sign of courtesy, with your eyes still meeting hers. A very little bow or nod of the head to follow the handshake. On this particular photograph you see the man bowing to the extent of not even seeing her face. This type of greetings are only reserved for a King or Queen, the Oba or his wife, or an Emperor.

You cannot greet a Governor, a President or head of State of any Nation like this, so it brings us to the question of why people would anyone go to the extreme of greeting like this?. This simple answer is “Eye Service” They want to be Liked, they want to be Favored…. their jobs or positions is never enough for them, and they want something extra. Just like Governor Wike of Rivers State, who was almost worshiping the former first lady Patience Jonathan and calling her his Jesus! That is exactly what you are seeing on this photo, if Lara Oshiomhole was just an ordinary lady this man would only look at her as he looks at any other beautiful lady and Nigerians should be very weiry of such people especially if they are in public office.

Sadly, this photo might draw some backlash against Mrs Lara Oshiomhole if only to get at her husband, even when she has absolutely nothing to do with it. You can also begin to imagine what might be going through the mind of Lara Oshiomhole who has been described by so many as a very nice lady that has blended with the people of her new home of Edo State. She too might be wondering why the man is doing this as if to say “Please stand up, you do not have to do this, a simple handshake is good enough”

Now examine the following pictures below, When Mrs Lara Oshiomhole greeted President Buhari with a Handshake, she made “Eye Contact” though she bent a bit as a sign of Courtesy, when the President Greeted Queen Elizabeth with a Handshake, he made “Eye Contact” though be bowed slightly as a sign of Courtesy, but nothing like. The Man bent so low while looking at the ground as he made his handshake, and this has absolutely nothing to do with Courtesy but more of somebody looking for unmerited favor.

It's amazing how strangers can come from nowhere and openly start to run Nigeria with the full cooperation of Nigerians.

Very disturbing actually.

She is Married to an Edo Man and so by Marriage she is Edo, and whatever she does is entitled to her by Marriage and she has not crossed any Boundaries.. We do same over here where I reside... Actually over here Nigerians are not married to Governors or whatever but actually acts as if they own the Land and wants the people to Worship them (I dont act like that) but lots of Nigerians have Superiority Complex as they want the people here to worship them and agree with everything they say.... I take it that you have not traveled out much otherwise you will see that Nigerians do worst sometimes

She is Married to an Edo Man and so by Marriage she is Edo,
in your opinion.

If that's the case, then you should say the same for every non-Edo married to Edo, not just Oshiomole's SO for whatever reason.

abi na only she marry Edo ni? huh

I know in some cultures in Nigeria, people are commonly adopted from outside, however in issues that involve national security and our ever invisible national budget which almost no commoner has ever seen or experienced, you need to not play people for fools when planning your stuff.

The IDP camps which Oshio and lara want to become the public face of Edo, should be more of a concern for you than worshipping someone just because they're foreign.

and whatever she does is entitled to her by Marriage and she has not crossed any Boundaries..
entitled, you say.

who said she crossed boundaries? Seems you are confused, hence your quandary to begin with.

thought religion doesn't permit o

the other man bowing down is a disgrace to Edo men, Nigerian men and African men at large. this same man will see an Edo woman and will expect her to kneel greeting him, nonsense!

is she better than the average Nigerian woman?

am not hating her, but the men who loose there head in the name of greeting the state 1st lady

Next time read Properly, I never said anybody offended me, I am just reporting what goes on, what I have seen so many times and some people talks about...and it's not just one Country... Lots of Nigerians abroad do that, sort of like they want to Re-colonize these people to think and see things through their own perspectives

By the way if you can still make ur points without resulting to INSULTS dont you think so?.... Nothing in my post suggest worshiping of anyone so I dont know where that is coming from. You do not know me or what am about and you sure didnt get that from my post. Be well
