You see, Cyborg technology, if care is not taken has the capacity to bring about serious quagmire in human society as we now it of today. Has a matter of fact, we may end up being at the mercy of a cult like scientific movement with machine ogneticism and opulent disarray kineticism especially if combined with modulated plutonium isotopes.
So, it will be technically out of place, if we don't begin to employ the services of corogulated cypenetic measure to curtail the rigmarole that is currently circumventing gains recently made at molecular diffusion of the atmospheric gathering at the biospheres related to this CYBORG TECH.
What this I just type above? Trash, I know nothing about Cyborg Technology, but like our NEPA Bill in place of certificate president, his disexcellency, Dulardpo Dundee President Buhari one of Daura, one must just say some rubbish and all the illustrates will clap for you for making an open show of yourself. At least I still bright past a country's president, because me I get WAEC.

you are the reason some people need computerchips instead of organic brains.

very unethical. before you know it the Cyborg population will begin a quest to wipe out the human population. and there begins the Armageddon.

Yeah.. The first one was aired in 1987

But I'm talking bout the one produced in 2014.

So what's your definition of a human?
And if amputees are no longer humans then do then do/ should they have human rights?
Ok.. That's where types of cyborgs come in.
Medically speaking, There are two types of cyborgs: the RESTORATIVE and the ENHANCED.
From the terms, it is obvious that amputees fall under the category "Restorative" (technology of repairing/restoring lost body functions and organs)..

If a human becomes a cyborg due to necessity.. Maybe a broken arm or hearing deficiency, I think it would be fair enough to still give regards to such as humans, as a matter of fact, they're the ones that need more protection of their human rights.

But a Cyborg on an enhanced mission... Like an athlete taking systems enhancing drugs, or a soldier with x-ray vision.... Well u be the judge. lipsrsealed
Re: What Are Your Thoughts On Cyborg Technology. by menxer: 7:39pm On Mar 23, 2016
Once upon a time there was only pure spirit beings until an experiment to create man (a mixture of spirit, Astral, mental and physicality) was conceived, created and brought to life by the "Gods".

It won't be out of place for cyborg to be incorporated into the creation mix:

And Man said, Let us make cyborg in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth and the Internet of things."

God created man because He wanted to experience life in physicality, Man create cyborg because he wants to experience life in virtual reality/internet of things. grin

Man is an organic computerized machine with programmable codes (DNA) created by the "Gods", Cyborg is an inorganic computerized machine with programmable codes created by man grin

Have you seen 3D machines that print edible pizza?

Technologies are not necessarily about war and destructions.
that's true cocolav, but consider how much is spent to develop weapons of mass destruction and compare it to how much is spent to improve agriculture or even sustain a healthy environment, noting that both also make use/need high level of technology

I dont think we should fear artificial intelligence....

My point in this conversation is that
the dangers from AI are overblown by media and Christian foundamentalists, and the real danger is the
same danger in any complex, less-than-fully-
understood code: edge case unpredictability.

In my opinion, this is different from ‘dangerous AI’ as most people perceive it, in that the software has no motives, no sentience and no evil morality, and is merely (ruthlessly) trying to optimise a function that we ourselves wrote and designed.

Your viewpoints (and Elon Musk’s) are often presented
by the media as a belief in ‘evil AI,’

@Spafu...Having studied AI, We have seen first-hand the ethical issues we are having to deal
with today concerning how quickly machines can learn the personal features and behaviours of
people, as well as being able to identify them at
frightening speeds.

However, the idea of a 'conscious’ or actual intelligent system that could pose an existential threat to humans still seems very foreign to me, and does not seem to be
something we are even close to cracking from a
neurological and computational standpoint. What I
wanted to ask was, in your message aimed at
warning us about the threat of intelligent machines,
are you talking about current developments and
breakthroughs (in areas such as machine learning),
or are you trying to say we should be preparing
early for what will inevitably come in the distant
future?

I think we shud be discussing about the technology, development and the evaluation process!!
That said, I think cyborg becomes the area of focus since we dont have a machine that has what we call 'common sense'. So we decide to put d functionality in 'humans'. I think it's actually more reasonable as long as the thought process is not corrupted. The computer part doesn't have more control over the human part. It just helps him get better at what he/she does.
Just like the navy seals, or d British SAS, during a mission, a cyborg can be sent to retrieve the major asset, search and destroy, search and rescue with minimal loss.
So pls anybody into AI here can recommend somewhere for me to starthuh
Cheers!!!

The technology has already been developed nto a prototype by an american weapons company.
The soldier wears it 4rm head to toe and it increases the battle capabilites of the soldier.. U can research on google

For me I totally welcome the idea, that is what I called creating a balance. Imagine a future were machine will be predominant, it is either we merge or we are outdated. @Jonnydon22 with your love for outer space how do you expect to get far from Earth with this fragile human system

I don't fully agree that more money is being spent developing weapons of mass destruction. Having experienced what is happening in the biotechnology sector and also with the benefits transhumanism holds for the human race, I think equal attention is being given to other useful technologies. If you have statistics, you can share.

Just imagine what Sophie in this video can accomplish for humans.

well, Bio-tech in form of Genetics, Bio-fuel, and alternative sources of farming is receiving massive Investments, but Babe, Nuclear weapons, fighter Jets, Ordinary cooking of Viruses (Ebola, Zika) has much more money spent on them. maybe 500% more at least.

I can't help but imagine the medical benefits of bionics. Especially in the areas of prosthetics and ocular tech. Outside of handicaps/cripples though, I can't imagine anyone wanting to permanently alter his appendages, when there's wearable tech like mechsuits and exo-frames, complete with headgears that support augmented reality. Just imagine, hoisting yourself onto a machine that allows you push vehicles out of your way, while objects you look at are analyzed and details are beamed to your retina, straight from the web. And to think all these technologies exist right now.

Deus-ex things coming 2 fruition. Anyways im go make sense gan. Imagine a world where amputees r able function normally due 2 d presence of maneuverable prosthetic under d control of d brain, where cells of d body difficult 2 regenerate (eg nerve cells) can b replaced wt cyborg substitutes, a world where instead of d f**ked up method of vocal teaching in educational institutions dt cld b 4gten by students, info is passed 2 d brain thru d use of USB & memory card slots & can be recalled d same way 1 searches 4 data on d system (saved name or keywords contained in d data). Imagine a world where nano-tech is properly harnessed. We cld use it 2 save d planet by utilizing dem 2 repair our depleted atmospheric ozone layer & absorb our carbon emissions. D rewards wld b boundless. If only i cld b alive 2 witness dis golden age.

I think remaining bio is the best option. yes, cybernetics is okay, but how long can we sustain machine-in-human? how long can the biological part survive? how long till it becomes a threat/weak point for advancement of technology. i see cybernetics lasting for a few years before full robots take our place.
Re: What Are Your Thoughts On Cyborg Technology. by Nobody: 10:47pm On Mar 25, 2016
I am fully for this. Imagine a world where nano-particles are injected into the bloodstream to trigger immediate life long white blood cell response; diseases would not stand a chance to match up. Imagine a world where rather than selecting specific foods for health purposes our bodies get aided in squeezing the most nutrients out of whatever we ingest. Such a world to me offers more promises than disadvantages.

I'm surprised most of the commenters in support of being 100% organic still visit hospitals frequently and do monthly check ups. Don't you people know living past a certain age is not natural for average humans? Technology has made majority of us able to live into our 70s whereas life expectancy would remain at 45 years old tops without rapid technological advancements.

I'm still waiting for the day humans fitted with technological enhancements are able to colonize the South Pole. Too much untouched land exists there, it would end the debate on human population explosion.
