Hi Folks,

Good day. I am at the brim of acquiring a landed property at Odo Ona Kekere, Arapaja, Ibadan.
Though the seller said it's free from any govt encumbrance. But we should know their attitude when they are desperate to relinquish.
I'm here too ask my good people of the forum, especially those that have the know-how from the Oyo state land bureau.
Is it free from acquisition and if not can it be ratified?

Odo-Ona Arapaja for the most part is Free of govt acquisition. I was still there this afternoon.
But it won't take you more than 30k to do a search in Ibadan. Get the documents, find a lawyer or independent surveyor to do this for you.

I don't really know much about land in Ibadan. I used a Real Estate lawyer that has offices near my chosen area and a Surveyor.

want to also ask if Baale area of Ajuwon in Ogun state is free of govt acquisition. I have bought d land already .thanks

@Najim . Ajuwon should be under govt acquisition.
you can make further enquiry at the nearest home charter office. but I know one at Agbado crossing

I actually have a plot of land in Odo Ona Kekere also.
How did it go with your findings sir? Did you eventually bought the land sir?

I think my area then was free of government encumbrances.
I bought the land then & sold it before I left Nigeria.
