Good question. Now, there's a saying that says if you want peace prepare for war. It does not matter how much the well known Nigerian Army kills our people. We and the world will at least know who are behind the killings unlike for us to keep on hearing that faceless herdsmen are killing and ransacking our communities. The attack against the military is to gather public attention that will ensure that the herdsmen case be taken seriously. Anything short of this will bring a repeat of the Tiv situation in Enugu state. Formally, the Tivs held the herdsmen down until the Zaki biam debacle that weakened them and left them at the mercy of faceless so called fulani herdsmen. Igbo is a big group and should not fear any intimidation from the Nigerian Army else we are domed. Besides, killing soldiers will at least send fear into the hearts of others on how the actions should be among our people. Let there be a big media coverage of the activities going on there.
