you were pregnant for him just immediately you divorce your husband...... this gives an impression that the divorce was a well planned arrangements BTW the wife and the judge because their must have been an affair BTW both of them which blossom day by day and her previous marriage is just the obstacles for the to start a new chapter....

from my understanding of the whole episode.... their was a relationship BTW the judge and the woman before she ever thought of divorcing her husband.

Not taking sides, but the husband took her to court. He said that himself! He wanted the divorce, and he was given.

I think the man wanted to divorce his wife, and while in the process, the wife and the judge met themselves. Whether or not they started an illicit relationship before the divorce was final is debatable. They might both argue they started seeing themselves after the divorce was finalised.

Anyway, if the man was still interested in his marriage, why did he bother to take her to court? He never levelled any accusation of infidelity against her in their marriage did he?
Why didn't he just ask the elders in their family to intervene or something.
I think the man is confused.

Should it matter? They are divorced and she's allowed to date whomever she pleases.

A divorce isn't an overnight thingy so obviously by the time the case was brought to court, this man and his ex wife were no longer together.

He can't lay claim to the wife's business either as any maintainance and assets sharing would have been discussed and divided during the divorce process.

He is only upset cos his ex wife has moved on and upgraded.

Which of you will encourage their daughter or sister to remain in an abusive marriage? This is a man that beat up a heavily pregnant woman at her place of work? He deserves to be jailed for attempted murder of an infant and adult!!!

Nigerian men should realise that gone are the days u treat women like trash and expect them to retreat to some prayer house....hoping and wailing the man comes back to them.....the ex has moved on and this man should

Crazier stories exist in other places. This story sef is not even crazy. It would have been crazy if she gave birth for another man/ the judge while the divorce was still ongoing. Heck, even Kim kardashian got pregnant for Kanye West while still married to another man. She gave birth like 2 or 3 months after her divorce.
Then, don't you watch Jerry springer, Jeremy Kylie shows? Though I believe most of those ones are staged cos they're too crazy cheesy

A couple of years ago, a teacher ran away with his teenage student, that was after the teenage girl in question had shared his naked picture with every available mobile phone in their London school. im a lawyer ,she is your ex wife now.u took her to the court and the judge right or wrong dissolve the marriage sure u know you can appeal if u are not satisfied with the judgement.while you may quarrel with the custody of the children and other issues,u have no business as to whom she marries thereafter as she has already rightly told u.she could rightly have elected to marry the judge or your worst enemy or your competitor.fight on for the custody of your child and ask a higher court to review the decision .one thing is clear she is no more your wife again and let her be ,im sure u are locked up in prison because u go about throwing accusations.marriage na by force?.next time u put the 5million loan in writing and made it clear it is a loan.if i see u around her again,u will see what i will do to.lucky judge,ma jeun lo thuraya.lol

You don't seem to get my point. The former husband wanted a divorce, took his wife to court and probably she also agreed to the divorce with no contentions, the judge can't force them to remain together. I'm talking of normal divorce cases provided both parties want the divorce, no judge has the right to force them to stay together. He may only ask them to stay and try to resolve their issues if either party doesn't want the divorce, but apparently both parties wanted the divorce and they were granted their wishes.
The man could have withdrawn his divorce petition out of court if he was still interested in the marriage, and nothing like that happened. Remember, they've been separated for at least 10 months before the divorce became finalised. He had 10 months to mend bridges and keep his family together but he didn't do that.
Yeah, the story sounds so "funny- one kind" but really, I don't think anyone has the right to tell an adult who to fall in love with, or how to live their lives. The got together AFTER the divorce. The divorce brought them to meet, I think it was just a chance thing.

He likely met her for the first time when she presented in court but I'm sure he had his eyes on her from that day.
The husband wanted divorce and that was what he got and makes the woman free to re-marry anyone but like I said,what the judge did was unethical,an abuse of office.

You are all blaming the judge!
Remember that:
1. The couple has being having issues before meeting the judge!
2. The Ayeni is a wife beater
3. The woman had witnesses namely her neighbours.
4. It was Ayeni that requested for divorce abi na the judge influence that one too?
5. I think Ayeni have inferiority complex! He could not handle the fact that the wife is richer! then he saw another man managing her very well then got jealous!
In the cause of listening to their case the judge might have being emotional. Therefore the judge should be punished if he has violated any of the rules but note that the woman is no longer married and was not forced so she has the right to marry anyone!
