Highly informative but op i willn't advice sum1 to put his life at risk, firstly if you bin stoped by Pman/wman wether fake or geniue u got 2 melow down reason dey are equiped with arms wot a normal person sud do is stop give dem dia normal #50 bribe drive a distance pull over put a distress/emergency call 2 report such an illegal act. my days are numbered same as yours..if the lord can number the hairs on ur head hw much more of ur entire life... Do I look like a fraudster to you. It's still difficult to identity or differentiate the fake from the genuine ones.
Some even wear black T-shirts. ( I wonder why NPF will accept and encourage such)

I remember some months back..... When 3 policemen accosted me in front of Shop rite Jabi, abuja they asked of my vehicle particulars, which I don't answer them..... Jux keep mute until they found out that mehn guy calls no be here Oooo, bfore i knw i can't find them again and again...... because, I strongly believes that they are fakke police officers, to my greatest surprised i saw them in NTA Abuja on tuesday morning, they were arrested and been paraded by CP WB Inalegwu

1.it is called NIGERIA POLICE not Nigerian Police, it's is the only Nigerian organisation with this British nomenclature supported by the 1999 constitution.

2.SPY POLICE have been mandated to wear brown on black to differentiate them.

3.officers from the rank of one star(ASP) are the ones permitted to wear woven cap badges and do not carry numbers on their uniforms.
4.inspectors and rank and file wear metal cap badges.
5.No police officer of any rank is to wear the camouflage except on riot, protests or other major operations by the police and/or the military.
6.all police men irrespective of rank can be identified by their staff id card which is worn on their uniform or clothes for detectives and their warrant cards which should be carried on their person as practicable as possible.
There is more but for security reasons it can't be posted here bit if in doubt about the activities of any officer kindly get details of the police complaint response unit CRU from the police website, they are very effective, believe me.
