Let me lift some spirit here... Never give up Comrades...

Remember that dude that came here almost spamming about no acknowledgement mail or SMS after paper submission? Yes that same guy is me...
I still never got acknowledgement mail but I tried sending multiple correction mails to CIC as advised that I needed to advice my self to stop to avoid been seen as desperate... All that was done to forestall future mistake as I confirmed from VFS that a letter was ommited.

My medical mail was the first CIC mail I saw in my box from them and it dropped on the 14th of March with a 14 days ultimatum to report for medicals. I chose to do it in PH and went on the 23rd.

Finally, to Hod be the glory, Approval mail dropped yesterday on the 29th.

I applied via paper route on 25th Feb tho on Lagos.

Guess CIC now has faster processing.

.. Congratulations

Thank you very much. I'm still young - below 25.

Is it possible to do the test in Canada haven been admitted? I think it must have expired before I graduate if I do it here now as I heard it's valid for only 2 years.

Yeah. You're right. I remembered the 2years validity aspect after I had posted my response

Your Age is Ok bro

Thanks bro, One question bro, Can I defer my admission now so that I can use another schools admission for Fall semester as the TRV was actually processed for May.

Any implication to that?

I will say in order not to have problem at POE you should go in now, begin studies at your may start date school....when it is september you can switch if u still feel you have a reason to......

Beginning studies at May start date is tantamount to paying of all fees and you know what that is?

Yes you can defer as long as you are in Nigeria and not in Canada working illegally and you can easily blame it on forex everyone knows that or any other genuine reasons why you want to resume September.

grin I agree quite well with hayqinbFX or on the alternative, go into Canada, then defer/cancel admission, find and resume 20hours/week job and by September, you resume to your new preferred school

Oh....jus remembered
I friend who did it had funding from both universities

If na me be you after all d suffering for TRV (maybe you dint suffer) I will just take what I have and disappear to canada and begin studies.

I do not want to risk stories that touch from a real life angle when september comes

Canada is beautiful. Just keep ur hopes up and don't give up if u really want it that bad. But most importantly, be very rational and adopt a stone cold approach in ur application.
Leave out all d emotional and spiritual stuff I see here sometimes, these guys don't reason like that.
