It is a mark or wisdom I believe to admit when one is wrong. Recently the Ooni of Ife ,His Majesty OgagaII made the revelation that the SE is more advance ,more developed and ahead of the SW . I agree. I want to use this medium to apologize to the Eboes for any contrary statement I have made to that regard. What I want to appeal for is fairness and understanding from our Eboe brothers so we too can taste FEDERAL PRESENCE in our zone. Currently there is no Motorway from Ibadan to Ado Ekiti or Ondo while the SE is blessed with numerous Federal Projects and even an International airport in Enugu but what do we have? BROWN ROOFS everywhere. There is no bridge of the Federal government across River OSun while there are Mansions all over Aba and Mgbidi. They have a River Niger Bridge and are about to get another one while we have no bridge. This is totally unfair. Nigeria has to have a rethink about this and I trust the Eboes they do not support cheating and so they will treat our requests with understanding. The SW needs urgent development Can the SE agree to the temporary suspension of the second Niger bridge whilst the funds are used to develop our very backward and impoverished region. Let us have at least one bridge please Also we need the Federal Government to set aside some funds ,Let us call it the Brown Roof Replacement Commission to mirror the Niger Delta Commission. Our situation is very pitiable and we are supposed to be one Nigeria There is no international airport in the SW,is this fair? So we need to have an airport to allow us catch up with the glorious SE> I know our brothers will cooperate because they hate cheating God Bless Nigeria 8 Likes 1 Share |

omonnakoda: Not only that....they have two international airports....Enugu and Portharcourt....  ...don't forget they own PH according to dilector....while we Yorubas have none.... .....remember...lagos is no mans land.....in spite of the lagoon talk.... .....so until we get two international airports in akure and oshogbo......the iboes should not get any....SĒ is the most developed part of Nigeria....as our iboes brothers never ever cease to tell us..... ...we all need FG presence o jare..  8 Likes 1 Share |

Lol.. .Infact the brown roofs are too much.. ..and brown roofs depicts poverty, lack of education, lack of developmental growth. ..I don't know why the federal government developed the south east to the extent they don't have brown roofs, no erosion at all.. .The development in the east has made lots of youths in abeokuta, oshogbo, akure to go and start selling gala nd puff puff in places like aba, abakaliki..... It shows they were already civilized and using galvanized iron roof when your grandfathers were busy tying wrapper and living under thatched roofed houses. You are right about the erosion. Guy what is this ? Are we doing competition for who is least developed? No ooo SE carry go. The SW is not developed at all we need development and we need Brown roof intervention fund plus FIRST I repeat First River Osun bridge,while other are already preparing for second bridge. We also need airport and a seaport in the SW |

Truth is bitter but all praise to the new Ooni who has opened our eyes and by Orunmila's grace we shall never be deceived again. We are like the biblical Adam who walk about naked in blissful ignorance.Now we know how backward we are and have been No River Osun Bridge No Federal roads linking major cities in the SW All FG projects are designed to use our zone as a passage or corridor for others Imagine that! A passage or corridor passing through your parlor and what do you get in return? No Airport No Seaport While they have all kinds of projects in the SE . and Now they are asking for NUMBER TWO Niger Bridge while we have NOTHING!! Absolutely nothing so what then is our pride. We must also acknowledge the sophistication of those who have allowed us to fool ourselves all this while thinkin we are developed. Go to Akure or Osogbo or Ado Ekiti . Nothing to write home about. So as far as I am concerned there should be no second Niger bridge until we get River Osun Bridge and a functional international airport in Ibadan or Ado Ekiti 1 Like |
