My story of the early hours of the day how Goal.com started April fool with me.
I was doing an assignment till about 1am today when i decided to take a break and check facebook updates. Lo and behold, i saw Goal.com update that Messi has signed for Real Madrid. I was surprised and followed the link straight to the wwbsite. As someone that trusted news from goal.com, i really believed after reading the story. But still an element of doubt i googled it and then discovered that only goal.com is carrying that news of all sport website.
I immediately posted it on my whatsapp group and also the link.
After some minutes, i checked goal.com again and the next news was that Mourinho is officially Nigeria's super eagles coach. Chai, I nor fit believe that one o. Then i started thinking and it occurred to me that today is 1st April .
I don fall mugu to goal.com, who will be the next. After reading alitu, i went to bed, and about 5am, my roommates came from night class where they went to read. I immediately gave them the story and without letting them know its a scam, they eventually believed after a litu doubting n small argument. When i stood up from the bed, I said, goal.com don start april fool with me, and then they knew that what happened to me has also happened to them.
