| Should Sanitary Pads Be Given Free ? by Fmartin(op): 8:50pm On Apr 03, 2016 |
Menstruation is something that young girls and women naturally go through once a month evry month. Considering that menstruation happens naturally, there are some people who believe that sanitary pads (worn to absorb menstrual blood) should not be sold. Instead, they should be given out for free considering the poor condition of some families. If this is done, some common diseases associated with the use of unhygienic material as sanitary pads will be curb. Majority of girls and women in some rural areas opt for pieces of cloth, piece of mattress as sanitary pad since they can't purchase a more hygienic sanitary pad every month. Should menstrual pads be given free as other materials like; mosquito nets, condoms etc. At Primary health care centres? Do you agree with this people or do you think there's no problem in selling sanitary pads? Come and share your view.. Cc. Mynd44, lalasticala |
