He will appeal this Ruling to the Supreme Court. Then he is going to come back, find another fault, let the CCT rule on it and appeal again to the Supreme Court. When he has exhausted all his Appeals, he'll now come back to this Ruling today and ask that he be allowed to clarify issues with the CCB, before being put on trial. If the CCT overrules him based on the fact that "there should be an end to litigation", he'd appeal that one too.


This case is going to break a lot of hearts. Those who don't know how the Judiciary work, especially.

You obiously are oblivion to the new Criminal Justice Act. From here on Saraki must stand trial. Even while he appeals the rulling to Supreme Court the trial goes on. After Saraki's CERTAIN conviction and removal as Fraudulently planted Senate President, he may win at the Supreme Court, but at that time Tinubu the Mastter strategist would have helped the APC to retake the Senate from the pdp and Oil thieves who sponsored Saraki and Dogara.

I don't even understand the deal, Saraki struck with this Tribunal Judge...

For goodness sake, Saraki was arraigned under the ACJ Act 2015, which does not give room for stalling trials or filling of useless motions... so what is stopping the tribunal from telling Saraki the same?

Any motion from Saraki can be entertained even heard but that shouldn't stop the substantive case from going on...

If after nearly 8 months this trial is yet to properly commenced, then it's right to assume that to an extent Saraki has been wining. After the Supreme Court has given a final go-ahead, why should Danladi even listen to Saraki again for any injunctions whatsoever? Today is a make or mar day for Buhari’s so much vaunted antigraft war.
