I din't do the big chop,i transitioned. I just stopped relaxing,then each time i wash my hair-i trim it.Now i am left only with the natural bit and during this period,wear wigs or plate your hair.

Try wig here and go mad due to the hotness of the weather , am tired of having to make hair. I wish I can just cut and it turns out like this but how can I trust the barber? Then the issue of maintaining it, person tire. I wish I have the nerves to try Ify's style, skin .

If you want to cut your hair,go to a male salon-i promise you,he's going to do you right.There are men who wears afro and yet it is well cut and clean. Maintaining a low cut is less trouble i tell you.Like this maybe.

This hair is kinky mehn, like secondary school girls kinda. The treated ones are more adult ish, I will look boyish on that kinky hair .

My dear, the average nigerian girl's hair is stubborn. For starters, every 'team natural' lady knows that she should not comb her hair when it's dry. Moisture is the key, baby.

It isn't easy to maintain natural hair especially if it is course and you have lots of it. Generally we black women don't know how to take care of our hair but all we need to do is trial and error to find out what our hair likes individually. For me I feel most free and beautiful when wearing my natural hair.

If I see ladies with nice natural hair I make a point to compliment them.

Although I have seen people with nice relaxed hair or weaves but often it looks grotesque simply because it is just so unnatural and opposite to the real them. Along with the excessive makeup, bleach, fake lashes and fingernails.

I actually wonder what these women actually look like behind their disguise.
