I remember walking into a nearby supermarket and requesting this brand....they offered so many other options but I had to leave and venture a bit farther to get St. Louis sugar. There was a rival brand in d late 80's - St Leo's - with terrible quality. I had to revert to my favorite. Bottom line is Quality has never been compromised over the decades.
