Gentlemen, below are pictures of the 2013 Bmw M6 Gran-coupe. As you can see, it has 4 doors.

In the 90's, coupe could refer to a “2-door car” but now, it could mean just anything.

Not all coupes are 2 doors
For instance the 4 door Mercedes cls is a coupe

Guys read up on what is now termed as Coupe here. It doesn't always mean two doors anymore. I think the shape and streamlining of the roofline is more of a determinant than the number of doors these days. An example is the CLS as posted by Readonee35L. The VW Passat CC (comfort coupe) is another example of a 4 door coupe.
