His Excellency, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was in Kaduna State to attend Kaduna Economic and Investment Summit#KADinvest2016, the first investment summit to take place in Northern Nigeria. The event is targeted at investors both locally and internationally to boost development and partnership with both the private and public sector. Unveiling the economic vision, the state Governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai took participants through his government’s five year plan on how to achieve the vision. Giving his goodwill message at the forum, Governor Bagudu stated that competitiveness is a product of policy and investor agencies must do their best to showcase the comparative advantage of the North in agriculture and the incentives for investors. He also applauded the initiatives being carried out in Kaduna state and encouraged others states to look inwards to do same.
