Am nt in support of both armed robbery nd jungle justice bt I dnt like wrongly quoted passages. It could be misleading. That verse applies only to robbery at night where immediate action has to be taken so he does nt escape. But verse 3 nd 4 says that if d thief is caught in d day, and killed, the person who killed the thief is guilty of murder. "But if the sun has risen on him, there will be bloodguiltiness on his account. He shall surely make restitution; if he owns nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft. If what he stole is actually found alive in his possession, whether an ox or a donkey or a sheep, he shall pay double". Jungle justice is a sin and people who partake and bears witnesses to it are murderers.

If I read the OP right, the guy was shot in the leg, probably while trying to escape. How is shooting or killing an armed robber in the process of robbing a jungle justice?

Your words are filled with strong emotions and I really understand you, but the first 2 paragraphs are very offensive. Actions like that are taken by any individuals irrespective of their ethnicity. What makes the developed countries different is becus of the Working Systems they set which was able to curb most of such behaviours.

'cause that same Old testament said an adulterer should be stoned to death when caught in the act but Jesus discarded that law in the new testament.
