‘O’ Level Requirements to study Yoruba: Credits in English Language, Yoruba plus one 1 Arts subjects any other two (2) subjects.

My question is, Why is it compulsory to have a credit not even a pass in English language to study Yoruba language and why is it that Yoruba is not part of the requirements to study English language ?

I failed English but which other language did i use in passing other subject.

U Can't be admitted normally .if you fail English. English language must be credited .

...... Because English is the lingua franca of this country and not Yoruba. Therefore it is imperative for all Nigerian graduates, regardless of what you studied/are studying to have a good grasp of English Language.
