Your words are filled with strong emotions and I really understand you, but the first 2 paragraphs are very offensive. Actions like that are taken by any individuals irrespective of their ethnicity. What makes the developed countries different is becus of the Working Systems they set which was able to curb most of such behaviours.
Nigerians can facilitate the setup of an effective system if they want but they're cowards and don't care how fast the country is going downhill.

Just few days ago, Iceland kicked out its president simply because his wife has an offshore bank account in Panama! That's what happens in a civilized country filled with sane people!

In Nigeria, we hear or catch politicians stealing billions of dollars from public funds, have multiple offshore accounts everywhere in the world, buy expensive choice properties all over the world without be qestioned, murder opponents, commiting other crimes with impunity and yet Nigerians do nothing like brain-dead zombies! Politicians know this!

Nigerians should be ashamed of themselves! We're all responsible for the mess in this dead country!

Lynch Tinubu and I will take you serious. Wicked people of Nigeria. If it was a policeman that condemn a thief to death with his gun, the news would change and the young man would suddenly become an innocent boy. The police should trace any of the eyewitnesses and make him or her an escape goat. The victim is guilty of robbery but those people that killed him, including the eyewitnesses are murderers.
. hmmm... I'm suspecting you as a friend of the armed robber who escaped. Say d truth joor. grin

I have been robbed yes! but that does not make jungle justice any less horrible and condemning than it should be.
I watched on nta news as a child in benin the burning to death of an alleged witch who sat by the road side and could not express herself properly. she only said she was travelling and her vehicle broke down on the way. she was stripped naked and burnt alive after a terrible beating. few minutes later, another breaking news; her son had arrived the scene and confirm that his mom was ill and they were on their way to ubth. (uniben teaching hospital) and yes they were travelling together, their vehicle broke down, so they got to benin in different cars and at different time. now put your self in that mans shoes and tell me how you will feel every time you remember your mum was burnt to death. dont talk fooolishly like a kid my dear. I have many other cases and stories of the barbaric act of jungle justice.

I'm not here to exchange words with you, my dear. I only thought you would be open to reasoning. The example you gave has no bearing with the topic. Witch craft is not a crime. And please I expect you to be civil enough not to mention any member of my family for your illustration.
If for instance your mother was raped by some cultists, won't you kill them ? (Of course it's rude to use such examples).

Thats quite true. Most Nigerians are passive by nature, we see something is wrong and we complain alot but fail to do anything about it. Its not that we are cowards or dead-brained but our up bringing has psychologically limited us not to take actions. Things we were being taught yle we were little still plays a huge factor on how we act as an adult "Dont talk back to your elders cuz he is always right and if you do *beaten of your life*, when you are being mistreated learn to endure *dont worry, yur time will come and yu will do the same to odas*, learn from tortoise stories *stealing is okay if you are willing to share and dont take more than you can carry or you will b caught* wisen up when sharing things within your mates *dull yurself and b d victim*" it goes on and on. Some of us are just products of wrong moral trainings. Proverbs 22:6 says Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

"We will never know until we ask". If he was satisfying his hunger or not is a question that can never b answered again becus the man is dead. Killed on the basis of assumptions too.
u should understand that d death of that suspect came from those aggrieved nd tortured by previous robbery in that area. It is a form of revenge. Have u been attacked by armed robbers b4 nd have any of ur love ones suffered from robbers or thieves b4?

Last year, Some armed robbers around Ifo area of ogun st. stole bikes from some okada riders nd shoot their hands. THESE HAPPENED REGULARLY for, like 6 mths before they were arrested. Few weeks later, some of them were released at d intenvention of their lawyers. These year again, they started d same thing. After diligent investigation they were arrested nd those robbers sold each of d stolen 11 bikes so far for 150k. After they stole d bike, shot d owner in d hand, they delivered it to another guy who changed d plate nos and finally sold it out for 150k. Madam guess what. Presently some of these criminals have been bailed again by their lawyers b4 they were charged to court. What do u think these released criminals will do again. I'AM NOT JUSTIFYING JUNGLE JUSTICE. I'AM ONLY EXPLAINING WHY SOME VICTIMS OF THESE CRIMINALS PREFER TO CARRY OUT JUNGLE JUSTICE ON SUSPECTS CAUGHT IN THE ACT OF ROBBERY.

Jungle justice is the only way to go in matters like this. Handed over to security ops, for what, to be released after settling them and return to your home and become deadlier? Kill them all!

When Tinubu comes to your house to rob and is caught, he'll be lynched and until then, think of better things to sort out your broke ass! The police are not trained to kill suspects except in self defence. These robbers should expect no mercy from mob action cus what they mete out to their victims is no less, even more as they take their lives as well as their monies so who's more wicked between them and the mob?

few hours ago I read someone's 8days old newly registered car stolen, and I wonder how long d victim has been working/saving up to purchase d car, only to be taken by another man with a gun.
Jungle justice is not d way, but I have zero sympathy for men in mask.
there are clean runs and hustles that bring more cool cash than snatching another man's with a gun.
fvvck d dead robber. fvvck all armed robbers, in d street and if u pity armed robbers fvvck u too.
Fvvck Fvvck Fvvck to them all bro! Imagine anyone in this country can remotely say jungle justice ain't the way to go, even you, but I take your summation as a coded exception. Look @ the silly jeans pair he had especially made to store other people's money! I'll even kick his morbid dead ass!

I disagree. It's NOT about upbringing, it has nothing to do with our problem. It's about national moral decay.

Nigerians see corruption as a way of life because every sector and institution in the country, from the top to the grassroot, is very corrupt! You can't make it in Nigeria if you're not corrupt, that's a fact!

It's virtually impossible for corrupt people to remove corrupt goverment.

The only time change will come to this failed nation is when a Nigerian Jerry Rawlings takes power by force and kill all prominent and corrupt politicians, including those in his ethnic group!

When Nigerians see corrupt people like; Obasanjo, IBB, Jonathan, Tinubu, Saraki,, entire members of Yaradua's cabinet, entire members of Obasanjo's cabinet, entire members of Jonathan's cabinet, all known corrupt senators and representatives both past and present, all governors and their deputy both past and present, etc, legally killed by hanging, then Nigerians will know it's no more business as usual.

No. I'm trying to look at things from both sides. People are very angry and frustrated. Things are very difficult.
Robbing a poor man of his life savings is tantamount to killing him.
