tobbie247:But in this case we should talk Physics as "Physics" is a human way of deducting what is true deeper than our perception. if we put human perception above physics in such case, human perception becomes deceptive and an enemy of truth |

tobbie247:What are you saying? |

johnydon22:In that case, write pie in mathematics |

McSterling:It's negligible. |

tobbie247:A mathematical calculation of a macro value, is not same as a calculation at a miniscule level. There is no argument here.. the OP's question was "If there would be a change in weight?" The answer is yes, he didn't ask whether is was negligible of not, that is a totally different answer all together… So what ever way the truth remains there was a change in weight no matter how tiny it is.. |

tobbie247:That's already established. There's no denying that. But we've made it clear to you that change on a quantum or negligible scale cannot be approximated to zero in this instance. We're dealings with precise physics here. We tell it as it is. No approximations. When you are given a calculation whose answer is say 1.1* 10^-22, and you give your answer as zero, your professor will most likely fail you. By your logic too, the mass of an electron should be 0 kg rather than the precise value of 9.1* 10^-31 kg. |

McSterling:If I say it's negligible, doesn't that mean that there's a change already but it's really small? I only used the notebook example to tell how minute the difference is. |

johnydon22:What part of "it's negligible" points to the fact that there's no change in mass? |

McSterling:Don't mind me. I know I'm fraustrating but then since NYSC has refused to call us, I have been fraustrating and annoying people on the internet. I'm sorry. ![]() |
