Before US Presidential favorite Barack H. Obama II used Facebook to enhance his 2009 epic victory, social media was largely consigned to the world of amateur youth. But, he got himself endeared to many, & that gave tremendous boost to Facebook, an American brand. He was helping the economy in no small way. That's essentially what it means to be a leader: to chart new direction for people to follow.
