Hello all, pls i'm in need of help... i'm a fresh graduate of UNN and i'm an architect by profession. I've made the decision to be a freelancing architect but my major challenge right now is that i don't know how to meet clients... pls any advice

create a thread on property forum, show ur architectural wrks, mayb wu knws, u wil strt getn contacts.....

Attach yourself under an old architect.

Then break free

1. Get your business registered:
- with CAC
- relevant architectural bodies
(This stage is not compulsory for a newbie)

2. Create your portfolio (previous works)

3. Build a website (you could begin with WordPress)

4. Be a regular visitor at the Properties section of Nairaland, and make your services known.

5. Remember, architecture is all about aesthetics. Whatever you to post must create a firm impression to the eyes and minds of the public. Post, upload, and showcase topnotch works only.

You can start by looking for an architectural firm, to work with, you should also be willing to work for free for sometime, Atleast until you learn the business part of the profession.
