where do we go with green back? Most of us goes to China with it. We use EURO in Europe & green back in other places.

Most of our imports are from China do if we use Yuan, there will be no need for the green back.

So I applaud BUHARI for this. Though it is GEJ‘s initiative.

Sometimes, I feel like disowning some people on Nairaland. Can you imagine? China gave Dangote a loan in Dollars and people and already celebrating what I don't know. Where did you guys see any mention of Chinese Yun in that report. Even China can not separate itself from dollars.

I think it's a good idea Nigeria working with China for Yuan-Naira swap to address at least part of our financial problem. It should relieve us a little from dollar paucity pressure. There's always an alternative aside IMF and world bank, just that African nations has been blind for ages to realize that.

With our high demand for goods in china its a matter of time before the exchange rate of naira-yen shoot up!!!
See ghana wey be baackyard, formerly 1cedi was about 50naira, now banks charge 1cedi - 90naira and pple don't demand for cedi like they will demand for yen. God help our ignorance!
