The Department of State Security (DSS) yesterday paraded Bello Danhajiya, a Fulani from Zamfara State and a strategic accomplice of Al-Barnawi.

Danhajiya, who is presumed to be second in command, disclosed his involvement in gun-running, cattle rustling and other nefarious criminal activities principally on the directives of his commander, Al-Barnawi.

It would be recalled that the service had announced last week the arrest of Khalid Al-Barnawi, known for his leadership and notoriety in terrorism activities in Nigeria.

Nigerians were also informed of his talent-spotting and recruitment of young people into the Ansaru/Boko Haram terrorist groups.

Nigerians are very funny sometimes...Boko Haram killing people, we understand but Fulani?...I mean has anyone ever been to a Fulani settlement before, I can tell you there aren't more than 100 persons living in a settlement and about 30 or less of them are able bodied, others old wrinkled men and women, a then children.


So how can a gang of less than 30 persons terrorize a whole town of hundreds of people and they seems not to have answer for them?...as far as I'm concerned, it a game of supremacy and the Fulani seems to be having a upper hand.

Cool point...many are quick to castigate the fulanis and the fulanis are not having a fair trial from the public. Fulanis come to my hometown in Osun and I remember back then that they weren't hostile. I hope the FG stabilises everything soon. Tired of hearing negative comments from those who talk confidently about something they know little or nothing about.
