Ivegotsolutions:You did not answer the question I asked but nonetheless it easy for one to say or claim anything on the internet. For you to say development will not come to Arochukwu means you know nothing about her. Before I forget, what is the name of the church you tried to establish and in which Ogo is it located? N/B Aros are mainly catholics. 1 Like |

Am truly not surprised, there is an old saying "Adigi Uzo esi gaa Aro dinfe" No easy route to Aro. Whell the government should please pay attention to the roads in Aro to re-write history. |

bedspread: Am from Arochukwu and l drove past d bridge with my family this Xmas. The truth is that d bridge has iron base but the obviously nothing to ride about. Very risky as two cars cannot pass there the same time. That road is a Federal road and several attempt to fix it has failed. The Aros was banking on Alex Otti victory to change the reproach before the .......... Historic town like Arochukwu need a good road no doubt. |

Development will continue to elude us until we started to question our elected representatives. At the time of Gov. Akpabio ,Umohia-Ikot Ekpene road at Abia state axis was very bad, Akpabio opted to construct it, but Abia gov. objected . I dont know condition of the road now. 1 Like |

Ivegotsolutions:Saying you are Ignorant about a subject is no Insult. I presented some questions to you to ascertain your knowledge about the subject, and you failed to prove why you are not ignorant. As an individual and a Nigerian I am entitled to a fundamental human right to movement to wherever please me within the confines of this country except I pose a security threat. That right my friend you cannot take away from me not by you or anyone. I suggest you travel more. 1 Like 1 Share |

I've always heard about this bridge until our driver used it 2 years ago.. He said it's the shortest and fastest means from Umuahia to Arochukwu, coming out to Ohafia.. I had my heart in my mouth until we successfully crossed.. My cousins kept raining abuses on the driver for taking such risk .. It's a serious death trap.. Funny how it's still standing.. |

joborskill: Is PDP just a name or it actually comprises of people? Doesn't APC comprise 95% of what used to be PDP? The way you guys reason is the reason why your so called leaders keep short changing you guys. Changing ones cloth doesn't change the individual. That's a simple "common sense" which I beleive even a dummy can understand. |

Flirtyjane:. Since it is a federal road all complain should be directed to the senators/HoR members where these two communities fall under their districts/constituencies, they should put heads together by including the road in their consituency projects by directing any federal agencies like NDDC Etc. for possible intervention, whether the bridge is in Aro or Ini/Ikono part of AKS which falls under Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District(Akwa Ibom North-West) now Represented by the influencial Minority Leader, Senator Godswil Akpabio. Funny enough, i don't know what went wrong, the immediate past senator was from that particular axis in AKS, but nothing was done to salvage the situation. We all hope that these current set of NASS Members will do something urgently about it. |
