I don't think Chief Oluyemisi Falae collected that money for his personal use, it was based on agreement between SDP, a party he represented then and PDP (then government of the day) for mobilization of party members to the then ruling party. |

okosodo:If you can support him for doing that, then I would believe you ain't sentimental because Anenih is your kinsman from Edo State. (Some people might think you're supporting it because he's Esan while you're Benin). I know of some people who always support 'their (our) own' when issue of corruption arises. They always call it witch-hunt even when it's crystal clear. Meanwhile, whatever action he (Buhari) takes though, he still has my support! |

This reporter should be very careful. Professor Sagay might deny ever granting any interview tomorrow and this man (reporter) knows what's at stake. That tribune man comes to mind. |

stealing from government confers is same as taking away tax payers money. they took away right to life. education. infrastructure, power, road and security. this crime has inflict pains on Nigeria citizenry. under this ruling this charges are unforgivable & treasonable felony. starting from 1960 past & present, both military & democratic government. whoever is found wanting should be thrown into the abyss of unquenchable fire. |

Ratello:That was what they all collected money for.. Dokpesi even collected for services his company AIT and Ray Power did for the then government of the day but that didn't stop him from being molested and embarrassed. So what is good for the goose is also good for the gander |

I don't support prof. Sagay's position. If you are not too old to steal money, you should not be too old to face the consequences. I also disagree with his argument that the elders don't know that the money they collected were criminally obtained. Olisah Metuh can also come up with similar argument but today, he's on trial for same offence. We should not encourage double standard in the fight against corruption. The old men should me made to return every kobo they collected from Jonathan and any one of them that refuses to cooperate should be tried like Metuh, irrespective of his age. |

Oga Sagay do you think the pharoah of Daura will listen to you, I dont think so either. Pharoahs since the time of moses(musa) have one thing in common, that is "they are always hyper stubborn" They must do what is in their mind. Untill the stubborn Pharoah of Daura changes by learning how to forgive his PDP enemies; nothing will actually change in this country. Change yourself Pharoah and people and things will change automatically. |

ItzChinnex:Who is your boy? ![]() If the criminally minded old men have any conscience in them, they would have known that the money Jonathan gave them were criminally obtained. They either return every kobo they collected or face prosecution. Nobody, no matter the age is too big to be prosecuted. |

That is one thing I still don't understand. When I am a contractor/politician and a kidnapper/politician steals money and gave to me to construct/campaign for him/her, does that make me an accomplice or also a criminal. Btw, I never knew the money was stolen or gotten through illegal means. If someone can answer me very well in negative terms, then, I am sorry to say that EFCC, DSS,ICPC has no case against anyone except sambo dasuki, and if our judiciary system is working perfectly, those being maltreated and being asked to remit such funds by fire by force will so sue the FG to its last kobo. |
