Calabar in general as regards service, likely places for corpers to serve and enjoy and so on..

Hmnnn! Lemme put it properly. This person involved in this brouhaha is a god-daughter to my boss. So, she's the one bothering my Oga about a way out. And in turn, Oga had to give me the task with an ultimatum of 24-hrs.


As for the hint of how Obubra camp looks like. Ehm, how do I even start self?


First, if you're going to Cross-river state NYSC camp Obubra from Lagos, don't go through Calabar o. That would amount to a journey in the wilderness.

You can board a bus to Onitsha from any part of Lagos. Once you alight at the final bus-stop, take a bike to Onitsha south park where you'll board another bus to Ikom. You'll alight at Obubra juncture, the camp is a stone-throw from the juncture.


Secondly, the camp itself is very dirty and unkempt. It stinks so badly, and their food taste like sh*t. One should be ready to make those food sellers at Mami market his friends. Camp toilet and bathroom is a total apology. Most of us had to resort to 'Shot-putting'
And I wake up very early to bath outside before the bigle sounds for us to converge at the meditation ground.


Lemme also add that the telecom network there is a total sh1t! Especially MTN. Don't know if it has improved though.


Now to the better sides;

There's enough water in Obubra camp. Power supply isn't steady but it's regular. Anytime from 6pm till 10pm, they would switch on the generator. That is the time one can charge. Although, you'd be expected to be at the social event ground by that same time. But smarties like us usually have our way.


Another advantage of the camp is that there ain't blood-thisrty mosquitoes there. All through my stay there, I was never bitten even for a day. Cool you'll say? The temperature there is also another good thing, it's always cloudy. And whenever it's sunny, the sunny isn't half as scorchy as the typical Lagos sun.


Social events there is the bomb. I mean, I enjoyed every bit of the social night. And finally, for those of us who like 'Do me I do you' you'll have enough hideouts to satisfy your urge in Obubra camp.
In our days, they kinda gave us this free-hand to get laid. (I'm serious) but one must do it 'codedly'.


On the general note, I'll score Obubra camp 6/10.
