prettysolid:..And who are the "they" that didn't allow Jonathan to continue? Jonathan is no longer President. And before he left power, he emptied the treasury. Imagine his own minister for finance saying that Jonathan lacked the will to save for the rainy day!! We are suffering the effects of the horrible decisions he took, coupled with the effects of the global slump in oil prices. |

These reforms had worked in the South Eastern Asian countries like Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh and that is why growth from these areas have remained fairly very strong.Anybody who know Mr. Emefiele should inform him that the greatest reform that was done by Asian countries began in their education sector. Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, e.t.c reformed their system of education first. This they did by jettisoning the colonial education they inherited from Britain. In the early 80's Asian nations suddenly discovered who they're, and they stopped learning in English language. Their schools started teaching in their various native languages. They also started paying huge attention to science, research and development. Isaac Newton said "native language is the best language to learn science". Asians invested in human capital, first!!. It was those investment in education and science that created masses of qualified people who changed Asia. Philippines remains poor today because they have not made those changes in education. It is human beings that build infrastructures!. If we need infrastructures in Africa, then we need to invest in people who can build infrastructures. Getting China to build us infrastructures is not a long term/sustainable development. Stop putting the cart before the horse!. Stop looking for quick fixes!. Look far!. That's what Asians did. For Ms. Kemi Adeosun, I think she's making a lot of sense these days. |

grandstar:I agree the buck stops with Buhari. The funny thing is I like him because of the points you raised against him! He gave his reasons for not following the herd. I respect strong resolute leaders not those bending with the wind. He has vision but like I said many Nigerians are hoping hell fail.Talk about monumental stupiditu |

Me too! I predict economic prosperity in the indeterminate future for Nigeria, just in time for the next elections! ![]() How will we do it? I don't know, but I'm sure we'll do this, and do that, and wave our hands, and "hey, look over there, EFCC harasses somebody!" When will it actually be done? In the future, but before elections sha. (or at least we'll promise to do it if elected) How many people will be affected: 500 million jobs! Your dog and goats will have well paying jobs too. Free electricity and fuel for everybody! |

Babalegba:Not following the herd will not make 1 +1=4 That's what he's doing and we can see the dollar scarcity and epic fuel scarcity are symtomic of bad economic policies You can't defy economic laws and win!! |
