Now i dont have time, lemme mak dis simple and short before i leav for patrol! Ders so much to it dt i cant scribble out here.

1. D attack was a dawn attack very early in d mrnin and we wer both advancing(NA & BH). and der was a contact and fighting broke out.
2. D advance was to capture damasak (a very strong hold of BH). BH dint also knw we wer advancing dt mrnin dey wer actually coming to cause chaos in a village (God knws y it happened so. Probably by now we wil b talkin abt civilian casualties whch my naija pple no wan hear).
3. D battle raged on for hours, d BH riffraffs. Wer much. Our boys wer outnumbered quite alright.
4. Air support was radioed for bt d response was slow.
5. Our boys wer already becoming low on ammo.
6. Der line was becoming thin by the minutes (cant tell u d casualties on our boys bt d BH suffered a heavy casualty).
7. Finaly airforce came to d rescue wit jets especially Alpha jets. Dis rekindled lost hope on our troops. But most of dem wer already in disarray.
8. Our jets went after dem wit everything dev got. Believe me wit everything they HAVE GOT. Because d jets actually went to refuel lik twice for dis mission.

.......gotta go!
Is your president not such a terrible liar?....Thought he said BH is not in control of any territory? How come the NA wants to recapture a town supposedly under their control!

It is called objective reporting which years of political blindfolding have rob you of. You had expected the normal soldiers are dead or boko haram are dead but was totally disappointed so much that you can get the story.

Here is it in simple English ;

Boko Haram attacked a military formation and overrun them, the soldiers have obviously called for backup which later came both ground and air support and the military killed the bokos and regain ground. Gerrit?
bros lets be sincere, the headline didn't give the impression of a balanced reportage of the incident.

And how is this good news when it say our troops were killed

And how is it not good news?
Must everyone like your murderous troops..

The murderers if Igbos
The murderers of Shiites
The murderers of Agatu.. .oh! you are deceived with the non-sense Herdsmen bullshit ..

To hell with them and may their blood flow like stream and may their head be lost from their shoulders and may their tongue be extracted from their mouths..

And to hell with all their supporters and protectors..

Very very good news!

In as much I believe that are more work to be done in the fight against Boko Haram, this publication seems to contradict itself. Hence, it is mere cooked up story.
Yes

Jonathanians won't like this too much . . . Nigeria is becoming more governable under the 'certificate-less' man of integrity.
Thank God

Headlines are supposed to be attention catching, na why we are always advised to read the article before drawing conclusions

What a truckload of contradiction. On one hand Nigerian troops have been defeated and others have fled. On another hand, fighter jets came to aid of the troops and the area is now secured.

Which is it, really?

Shame on BBC!

I don't understand all these international media outfits. you quoted different sources which gave conflicting accounts of what happened, yet you are saying the military experienced huge casualties.
its true, i heard it on radio this morning

My president is nt a liar, he is ryt to som extent. Bt definitely NOT A LIAR. He is my commander in chief and i cant say anything wrong abt him.

Nw back to d matter. I dont knw hw to break it down to ur understanding. Sambisa we all knw is a vast land. Stretching from one state to d nxt as we al knw. Now kareto i dont knw much abt it bt my coursemates stationed close by briefed me dt its along Damasak road. Bt we all saw d jets goin back and forth to get eida ammo or refuel.dis kareto/Damasak is vry close to Sambisa forest. Som of d BH dt wer dislodged frm other places in Sambisa also came to marry up wit d ones dt engaged our men yestrmrnin. So technically speakin BH dnt hold any grounds bt dt part of Borno cald Damasak/kareto is der stronghold.

God will help us to clear d remnants of dis riffraffs!
