Ok, enough of the famzing. Its no longer news that printing of CULs for batch A will commence 2mao (hurrey). So atleast we all will be getting ideas on how this four states thingy works, and perhaps how people might be posted to states that was not registered cos the way guys were just picking thesame states eh... Ok lemme just kpomkpi and see what happens 2mao. Pray all A16 PCMs gets their most prefered state.

Yeah. They needed someone with Nysc certificate and I didn't have one yet.. So I wasn't called. I stay at Sabo yaba. I can teach literature, crs, government or English.
To collect your certificate, you need to photocopy the part of the brochure that has your name on it and the front page as well. Asterisk your name, also you need your receipt showing payment for gown and certificate or just certificate. Take them to the Deans office in your faculty. They will give you a clearance form with the things you brought. Take them to the bursary with your school idcard, they will stamp on it. Then take the clearance form to the main library to get it signed, then go to your faculty library to stamp as well.. After this, take the clearance form to your faculty officer with your idcard. This is where you collect your certificate.

Now, I don't know if the things required of us are the same things required of you guys in your faculty, because in the case of engineering students, they asked them to bring their alumni receipt as well as the things I mentioned above.. So just check to know..

Yea schools will ask for nysc cert when applying for a teaching job...In my case,I diplomatically told them that I will apply for exemption (if I hear say I no go for service). When time for batch B camping comes,will tell them that nysc rejected my application for exemption.Currently teaching civic education from jss to ss.

For government schools,its a must.....u know its a civil service job and they must follow protocol. You can still submit your CV to private schools around sabo,yaba,onike and even bariga.You may be lucky like I was.You are even more qualified than I am to teach though I luv teaching and look forward to being a lecturer in the nearest future preferably unilag *winks*

This is to notify the whole family that i might be unavoidably active for probably a week or more or less(it might even be days)as i will be on the road to a nearby WAC,that's if my plan works out.
I won't be online due to the fact that my sim might not work there and if it does on a roaming,i don't think i will be able to purchase a data subscription as I will be going on a low budget.
My absent might start from early tomorrow morning or by friday.

I am not sure how to work this thing yet, bare with me please. I was told that we can bring khaki inside, now they are saying it is forbidden. I also am having trouble finding where to register online for Batch B. I know its not time, but I cant find the portal at all. Also, when do you think Batch B will commence? I am trying to purchase flight ticket, but I am unsure of the official dates. As of now its for early July-September ending. Please help. Thank you.

Khaki is not allow into the camp at all,concerning the register of a thing,my bro,just relax,I believe the body has a provision for that through their site which is Nysc.gov.ng,booking of flights?that's dicey bro,initially we don't know the exact date for batch B,we still speculating november but it might come earlier than expected,maybe August or so as i believe the body will brief us after batch A camping exercise,if you know you have relatives that you can stay like 2months at their place with no hassle then you can proceed with that Aug/Sept of a thing.

Hey Dream, lets just say I so happen to put my sewn khaki deep in my luggage, what will happen? If they dont find it, I can wear it. Also, I have heard that the officials say that there will still be three bathes this year, so I am assuming Batch B will commence as soon as Batch A departs from camp. If that is not the case however, Batch B registration should start around July, August yes? I do have relatives there, so I will most likely crash with them. Also, by the way, I am a girl, my bro.

@mbanonwanyi,the things allow in the camp are the white T-shirts,white canvas(canvas i think)food flask,mosquito nets et all,bringing in anything that resemble the NYSC official uniform is a NO-NO.
If by anyway i haven't answer your questions to your satisfaction,i have tag some capable individuals who can also do justice to it.
