I'v been hearing about microbiologists being discriminated and some not being offered jobs in the medical Lab. I never took it serious until today.
so am a 300 level student of Microbiology and am supposed to be on the siwes industrial training program. for almost a month now I have been searching for a place to do the I.T, but am yet to get.
all the hospitals and medical labs(both federal and state) I submitted my application to, all had the same thing to say. no one agreed to take me and my fellow "microbes". saying that, they only take Medical Laboratory science students.
and am beggining to wonder if I made a mistake studying Microbiology.
though I submitted my applications to brewing companies, but am yet to receive a reply.
abeg my fellow microbes help me put mouth for this matter.

My dear na so we see am. I actually did mine in a hospital but that was because I knew someone there. You must not do in the lab sef. Work there is monotonous especially if you'll be there for six months. Try giving your siwes letter to Pharmaceutical industries, Food industries, and also Brewery too
