In fact i just found out now peoples choice award for favorite new Tv drama this is quite interesting among all the new tv dramas that came out this ones stood out Blindspot,Code Black,Heroes Reborn,Quantico,Supergirl guess the winner

Someone asked why ABC renewed Quantico for a second season despite the fact the first season wasn't well received by audience & critics alike.

Well, the things is, when a show has enough episodes - somewhere between 65 to 100 - it could be purchased for syndication so that it could be shown in reruns for an extended period.

So basically, ABC is investing a lot on Quantico right now, just so they can leap the profits later, cuz, syndication is where the real money is - virtually all profits and no cost.

Bottom line, Quantico's on air purely for business reasons.

Side Note...And oh... People's Choice Award is one of the lesser prestigious awards that can be given to a television actor in America.

In America, just like the rest of the world, not every TV station is affiliated to a network - There are ones that don't have any affiliates, and thus, must rely on outside programming in order to fill their schedules with more than just informercials.

So, to avoid airing crappy and locally produced shows, they often acquire rerun rights from huge Television Networks like ABC to air their (ABC's) relatively new original programming (usually exceeding more than 80 episodes) for an extended period.

Ratings don't matter at such point, all the TV station care about is giving her local audience something sophisticated and most importantly, isn't locally made.

Anyway wats the criteria for this, as we know the big three and some other networks hv axed a lot of shows be4 even getting to season 2 so what makes a show good enough for syndication.
