So you are depicting that approximately N1,296,000,00 was disbursed to you to purchase 36 SUV vehicles at the cost of N36.5 each for personal gratification?

This Government is busying incurring unsolicited arrears on the nation.

Nigeria should simulate the efforts of Senegal to dissolve the Senate if we are to make optimum utilization of our pecuniary resources.
The Senegalese Senate that was dissolved is not the equivalent of our national assembly. Bear that in mind.

Unless you don't want a democracy, a legislature is necessary. What you should be pushing for is a limit on their excesses.

Where is Mr Common sense? He will not come out to say anything about this. Nigerian politicians are a bunch of greedy devils. They don't care one bit about anybody, not even their own family members. They'll do anything to get power and steal the country dry.

There is no single truth from these senators, look @ what they are considering the economic hardship. We should be tinking of scrabing the senate assembly, they are of no use to us, we better go to the street to protest.

Official cars? Have they all being trekking to the Senate all these while. A day will come when we shall have something in mode of the Burkina Faso's 'BAREFOOT MOVEMENT/REVOLUTION' or 'DISSOLVE' the senate like Senegal just did!

THERE IS GOD OH!!

They are obsolete. Not scrapping the Federal Character, but restructing it. Senators must earn minimum wage and all laws must be voted on by the people. Bcoz the senators do represent us.

36million naira translates to about £80000 each. Imagine how many cottage hospitals that £80000 would build and equipment in each state. There is God of!!!!!

When I heard 36mil each on channels last night. I nearly ran out of my mind. The fool spokesman of a senator was even cocky about it, saying that's the showroom price of the SUV. These lawfakers are full of shits.

Why are you going off topic? And what is the need for this your hypothesis?

Why can't you live in the present and focus on solutions by which these stingy men and women who have always and still continue to fritter away your commonwealth can be curbed?

Or do you even know what is in store for you tomorrow? But you expect me to start daydreaming and telling you the plans I have for my fantasies!
You're not getting me right. In as much as I do not support our law makers profligacy doesn't mean I'm saint, neither are you!your wailing today won't change anything. It's a generational trend.but the good news is that in our time, things will change for good.

All we need do is to continue to pray for a better government and a better Nigeria at large.

Rubbish because your God buhari is ruling, any attempt by you or any Fulani person to scrap our senate for your selfish agenda would lead to the end of Nigeria, thank God I have a business branch at the eastern part. What kind of rubbish we should just scrap the senate so buhari would run us aground, we are not Senegal that are not educated or exposed, the senate breeds balance in this entity called Nigeria though they are not perfect but we are getting there.

Since this is not something about one particular political party, you'll not see Nigerian youths come out to condemn this act of gross financial recklessness by our so called legislators. If it was about PDP or APC you'll see them come here to attack and slander each other. It's high time you guys realize that these sets of people don't care about you and can actually conive to loot your very own resources while you are here ranting on their behalf. angry angry
I'm waiting for the day Bukola's children will come and defend him and the rest of the politicians.

The legislature comprises on the upper and lower chamber, so I surmise that the Senate should be consensually or cohesively dissolved and made to delegate or bequeath their purview, jurisdiction and responsibilities to the Lower Chamber since they are the ones that makes exorbitant use of govt revenue than the lower chamber.
