The exchange rate will keep getting better and better as long as the Buhari government keep doing their homework well and show no sign of accepting IMF and world bank loan. Eventually, the Naira would come back to around N220 to $1, naturally.

In fact, if we put our feet on the accelerator and speed up our economy, the Naira could trade back to N150 to $1 over some years.

This's what scares the IMF and world bank, cause our model for solving this economic crises would become an inspiration to other third world countries to by-pass the IMF and world bank predatory loans.

For the Naira to go up vs the dollar....we need more forex.

I'll solve Nigeria's electricity problem pretty soon. Currently working on generating my own electricity (not solar, not gas) but in a method nobody have ever though of; including white people. What is there to celebrate? If Buhari had allowed the naira to depreciate naturally, the rate would have hovered around 250-260 at the black market at most.

This same nonsense happened in 2009. Soludo refused to devalue the naira from 120 despite the fact that the price of oil had fallen from $148 in 2008 to $35 in 2009.

Prior to this, the difference between the official and black market rate was no more than N2.00

With his refusal to devalue, the naira collapsed at the parallel market to 190.

Once Sanusi came in in 2009, he immediately devalued the naira to 150 and immediately, the black market rate rose to around 155.

Sanusi said the black market and official rate must never have a disparity of more than 3%. It is now over 60% under Buhari.

What does he know about economics? He is a man of great integrity but with a lamentable understanding of economics.
