Ibime, stop trying to denigrate Iniesta with those statistical voodoo or whatever yardstick you're using up there. Abeg, Iniesta is an attacking/centre midfielder, not a goalscorer. Lampard is more clinical in front of goal but Iniesta is the better midfielder overall. You cannot heap even the sheerest thread of scorn on Iniesta if he doesn't score a goal in 1000 games - it is not his duty to score. That's like yammering that Ronaldo should be taken to the gallows whenever Madrid's centre halves make a ponderous howler or haven't been up to par in 4 games in a row.

Just as it isn't Ronaldo's primary role to defend, it also isn't Iniesta's to find the back of the net.
As for Iniesta not being able to step forward to answer the bell since MSN's slippage, I'd like to let you know that he(Iniesta) has done it so many times in the past.
