Why don't these police escorts adopt different tactics while carrying out their escort duties. This is very cheap way of getting at them, "sitting in the front seat of a vehicle" They should start to escort in unmarked vehicles following behind.

SO let me understand you; if you're the governor of a state and criminals are crawling at every street corner; you'd take your phone and start calling Buhari!!!!! That's absurd. The governor is the Chief Security Officer of the state. It's his job to work with the CP of his state alongside community leaders and all stakeholders to rid his state from violence. That's his primary responsibility. If he is unable to do so, then I'm afraid he does not have the requisite skills and experience to be governor. Buhari is trying to fix the economy and finish off Bokoharam. STAY THERE AND BE CALLING BUHARI....Everybody hates AMAECHI, but he did a h.e.l.l of a good job on security. Now we're back to square one (like the Odili days). WIKE should drop that bottle of Louis XIII and get to work.

Ok, the Nigerian police presently is federal. But any police security issue (not the armed forces) in a state is reported to the governor of the state as the CSO, Hence you hear the state govt procuring vehicles and assistance to the state police dept. Basically, each police commissioner gives security report to the state governor first. Hope I've made some sense ?

Nigeria is soaked with blood of innocents. The dead souls and their spirits are seeking vengeance. That is why the country CANNOT move forward in progress. Abeg reason am.
