On the 21st of April 2016, a joint effort by the Officers and Men of Sokoto/Kebbi/Zamfara Command, FOU 'B', CIU and the Headquarters Compliance Team led to the seizure of 1,050 bags (50 kg) of smuggled Rice, with Duty Paid Value of over N16 million.

The seizure was made in a village called Mashayan Dogo near Lafagu, Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State.While commending the efforts of the Officers and Men involved in the operation, the Customs Area Controller of Sokoto/Kebbi/Zamfara Command, Compt.

Sani Madugu, also appreciated the community Leaders and youth of Mashayan Dogo community for their assistance in achieving the seizure.
