Hi all,

my wife is pregnant and she is currently serving at ipaja camp, she was sent back home due to the fact of her pregnancy which is now scary. i need help on the implications of this development and i want to know what next to do if its going to affect her service year or not.

it is not gonna affect her in any negative way. As a matter of fact, NYSC acted in your best interest by protecting ur unborn baby which could be in harms way owing to the strenuous drilling activities going on in camp. She will be expected to make a return on d last day of camp to pick up her posting details. .

Brief story.
During one of those days in Itsele-uku camp Delta state, we were making a hell lot of noise while lecture was going on. Of course it got our camp commandant pissed off. He is a Captain in the Nigeria army. With one command every one of us disengaged from the hall and assembled in the parade ground at once. Everything happened within some seconds (army get swag abeg). He gave us one kind of punishment that am yet to find its origin or how I managed to do it.

Outta 2k plus corpers observing their punishment, one girl stood tall and blatantly refused to bulge. She directed the girl to come closer and on inquiry, the girl gave her pregnancy as her reason. Chai. Her punishment was then doubled and she was practically dripping of coloured sweat while observing her punishment. .

NYSC officials couldn't interfere, cos they stated it categorically that expectant mothers are not allowed to stay in camp after reg.

It's been a long day, training and keeping up... Especially those of us marching, that will receive the Governor tomorrow.

. Anyway, we actually took a little break frm d drilling by a long speech frm one of d NYSC officials, dat was wen I brot out my phone to say 'hi' to GC. Am so glad I met u online... Winks!

On this very long queue looking around and wishing It's all GC crew doing their reg,with LogoDWhiz in front as d number 1 man.

Wish I could sight Fraiser helping people around him lighten up with his humorous n free spirited nature.

I wish Fraih was on this same queue just to talk peace into the head of this Soldier guy wey just dey ginger unnecessarily.

Wish I could sight Rukkyola carrying her triplets,busy looking for a way to hide herself from this blood sucking sun.

I wish Abbeyunique2 was standing right behind me and Jubrealguy in front of me complaining of the long queue and making serious resolution of going to a paraga joint to unwind immediately after the reg.(but I can already sight Alomo in their back pockets)

I wish I could sight Oyehomie and Qutyjoice forming n displaying their lovey lovey on d queue 4 real.(As GC's best couple).

I wish Crobboy was here as the main speaker in the midst of these otondos complaining of the dis-organisation of Nysc operations and other matters arising.

I wish iambibi was here looking all beautiful and offering us scrumptious fruit salad wey make brain.

I wish I could write down all my wishes and mentioning all GC members moniker..

Lastly, I wish this queue can be over in five (5) mins. *whew**.
