Segadem:I think I know about the land you are making reference to. it wasn't omo onile, it was the real owner. omo onile sold it out to a new buyer just because he is a rich dude, not knowing that the owner is also wealthy. they kicked out the woman the owner accommodated on the land(shop), remove the gate and sold it, threatened the woman. there was stop work notice from all relevant agencies but they ignored and break in to the site, demolished the foundation and erected a 2storeys building. The state government demolished the land. it was celebrated by those involved. pls no ask how I know oo. |

Well said |
| Re: The 10 Commandments Of Buying Land In Nigeria by OlujobaSamuel: 9:13am On Apr 28, 2016 |
SIRKAY98:you should have processed your documents(legal) with the state since you bought the land, if you have done that, just ignore them, they can't do anything, but if you haven't, that means they will hold you to ransom when it's for you to do that, since the land is not gotten from the governor, then you need a family receipt if you a buying from the family. Have you collected the title deed or it wasn't given to you? |

Segadem:Maybe that owner of the land no settle Omo onile well. Because if u settle omo oni well and they come back Bleep dem up too, God aside. I dealt with them my way after I paid Omo onile, another set came I paid, they tried to come again. I treat their Bleep up nicely. |

OlujobaSamuel:I have the land receipt issued to me and the Agreement signed by the family. |
| Re: The 10 Commandments Of Buying Land In Nigeria by OlujobaSamuel: 9:48am On Apr 28, 2016 |
SIRKAY98:is the agreement a DEED. if you can't see anything like a DEED at the top, then am not sure it's a valid one, but if it's there, just ignore them, they can't do anything to you now or in future. But pls go process your documents. The land might be sold to another person, and if he processed his legal title before you, your land is good as gone oo. Shalom. |

beware of land grapers please go back to your village and build not in Lagos |
| Re: The 10 Commandments Of Buying Land In Nigeria by jegedy1: 10:32am On Apr 28, 2016 |
The New trend of land grapers (Ajagun Gbale) in Ibeju - Lekki is alarming. Some element that are more power than State are in operation in Ibeju Lekki since May 29, 2015. For example community like 1. Abule Baba Adisa fell into the hand on land grapers late 2015. 2. Oko Olomi, Iya Alaba (comprises of more than 8 village totaling about 1,650 hectares) is current under the control of Land Grapers since 17/04/2016 where thousands of residence has been displaced, their building were demolished (IDP in Lagos) 3. Occupants behind WAKA filling station (where Lekki British Int'l School have their permanent site) also have their own shares countless number of houses were demolished in March 2016 4. The villagers behind Fajak around ONOSA Village were also not left out Many other villages around Ibeju Lekki are still on the list of Land Grapers (Ajagun Gbale). The questions are 1. Is land grapers licensed in Lagos? 2. Who is behind this just one year after the change of government? 3. Are the land grapers (Ajagun Gbale) powerful than government? 4. Is Lagos state government not aware of this or they are pretending? 5. What is government doing to ensure that this is stopped? 6. Is this change we voted for? 7. Is government so handicap to help the helpless? 8. Are the law that criminalized Ajagun Gbale be expunged from Lagos state law? 9. Are the Ajagun Gbale in Ibeju-Lekki working for government? 10. Who will rescue the innocent citizens from this powerful element? 11. Is there need to demolish people houses by Ajagun Gbale for Lagos to become mega city? We need our government to act now and save Ibeju-Lekki from Ajagun Gbale. All relevant authority should investigate the ongoing activities of Ajagun Gbale at Oko-Olomi, Iya Alaba area. This is still fresh all kind of gun and sophisticated weapons is been displayed by this people. This people also constitute security risk to the area as Ibeju-Lekki has started experiencing robbery and other criminal activities. Your excellence sir Gov Ambode we believe in your government, your vision and your effort to ensure Lagos attained her potential, we therefore appeal that you come to rescue Ibeju-Lekki from this menace. God bless Lagos, God bless Nigeria. |

Coachwilcox: "OP. You lifted this from Omonile lawyers website. At least have the decency to acknowledge the original author. Plagiarism at its worst." @ COACHWILCOX: Dont be too quick in "crying wolf where there is none". First, I stated that, "I saw this post and thought I should share with every Nairalanders." Then went on to post the date as it were on the website and Author "May 23, 2014 Articles by Barr. Matthew" Later at the end, I added, "Source" then the Website where it was copied from. That's where I read it from, and if BLUE HEDGE REALTORS did not credit the original Author, that's of no consequence to me and it shows how dubious they are. I do not represent Blue Hedge neither do I claim to. The Author Barr. Matthew Ottah is a Lawyer and can fight for himself! I only wanted everyone to have the information hence my recourse to posting it. I am a responsible man who will never plagiarize anybody's work without giving due credit. |
