It is "congenital" if I could borrow the word. Something like "inborn" . Though selective and affect a small percentage of human population which I don't have the exact statistics. It is mainly the unwarranted constrictions in the air passage through to the lungs. It gives a choking feeling that could be fatal if the inhalable spray is not quickly applied that could relax the muscles of the air passage.

Ventolin (salbutamol) inhaler alleviates it coupled with Franol. It can be outgrown in latter parts of one's life. The sufferer must identify the trigger and try to avoid it.
