Nevertheless I'm not exonerating the herdsmen of some atrocities committed in the south or any part of Nigeria
U asked to be shown the picture of even a single herdsman with his cattle in SE, have u seen the UNN thread? I expect u to tender an apology for ur false insinuations and lies.

There are criminals engaging in terrorism who are herdsmen, and that is a fact. Another fact is that not all of the criminals carrying out all of these attacks from Benue to Enugu are legitimate Fulani herdsmen. You cannot generalize the activities of cattle rustlers and terrorists.

The Fulani herdsmen's spokesman emphasized that if you see any herdsman with an AK47, that is definitely a rustler and there is a war against their activities.

What you're doing is akin to saying all Igbos are drug traffickers, insane.
And cattle rustlers suddenly left cattle rustling to rustle for human heads of farmers that had disputes with Fulani hersdmen, irony.

And criminals engaged in terrorism carry out their terror attacks on farmers & farming communities only?

You care about the truth but it seems you don't care about human lives otherwise you said nothing about the attrocities only to speak out for the voiceless Fulanis.
Who speaks for people of Agatu then?
I don't care about human lives yet I sympathised with the victims of the barbarism and said I hope the culprits responsible are caught and severely dealt with in my opening remarks. Let me guess, you didn't bother to read the op because it didn't matter to you, right??

Secondly, I don't speak for no one but myself. The Agatus have their elders and reps to speak for them. My opinion is my opinion and you can't force me to say the things you want to hear.

And where did the idea I'm from Agatu even come from?? What is with you people, me and Agatu all the timehuh

Why don't you people mention me and Guma or Katsina-alahuh

I didn't see it but believe me if I see the real evidence of Fulani herdsmen{not some random picture taken from the net} roaming around nimba vicinity I will tender my apology to whoever felt angered by my earlier submission here. We are all learning and none of us is perfect my friend. I might be wrong I might also be right you know, same applies to you too.

A true blood zombie, u rarely find these in this day and age, unlike the half breeds that are more common everywhere.

When ur name come up, am gonna have to RESPEK it.

So u finished or u donehuh
I don't think that this guy is a zombie; it's quite clear that he's being paid by APC to promote whatever agenda they may have in any situation. In this case, Buhari and his cronies want us to believe that his kinsmen aren't responsible for these attacks so as the lackey that he is, he keeps promoting this idea. Is it a coincidence that a little while after he ranted about the attackers being non-Fulani, the 19 Northern governors came out with the exact same thing?

I could help u with the thread, go to the front page, u'll see a thread titled "Fulani herdsmen invade UNN campus". Dat is the thread. I graduated from FUTO and I can't count the number of times I saw herdsmen bring in their cattle to graze in the campus.

Chai, this op is one of the few posters I admire and always look forward to reading their posts, but mehn, you goofed big time on this one. You just proved yourself to be a charlatan and a political jobber. Can't believe any sane person regardless of party affiliation would absolve the Fulani herdsmen of the crime.

Could Falae, Agatu people, Enugu folks all be lying? Chai! op, you fall my hand Gan oo. Talk about Stockholm syndrome.

Why do I have the feeling that following posters are not who nairlanders thought them to be:

Passing.shut
Job.orskill

These guys use divide and rule tactics. Check their post history, and you'll find out that they're just another blood sucking Fulani demons.

Omenka, fulani herdsmen are indeed evil. What type of heartless individuals will feed their cows on people's crops except heartless men. There is no excuse for this crime which nobody wants to punish.

It's only a slave that can lament about a massacre in Enugu, when more people died in his Benue, his home state.

Stale and boring. Can't you lot see how repetitive you sound?? Get something else to throw at me than the "slave", "Agatu people are being killed", "Benue people are being massacred" lines.

These attacks are acts of terrorism, no two ways about it and should be treated as such, attaching ethnic colouration won't do nothing but set people against each other.. The spate of attacks are a departure from the usual, media also reporting imminent attack is STRANGE.

We've always had recalcitrant Fulani nomads who have been thorns in the flesh of the people of so many agrarian communities but the recent spate of coordinated attacks are not perpetrated by the stick carrying cattle herders... The sooner blame trading is abandoned and concerted efforts is made to dislodged these evil people, the better!!!

In all my years of traveling around the north, i've never seen one single regular herdsman moving around with AK47, so it's baffling that people are refusing to just see that there is something sinister going on & the unseen hands guiding these evil acts...

Like I suggested in another thread, The government has no other path to take than to station troops in the SE like the NE, cos it's beginning to look like a metamorphosis since NE is no longer conducive...
You too? Political jobbers everywhere. These are the fifth columnists we should get rid of in the SW. If the coordinated attacks are not carried out by your darling cattle carrying Fulani herdsmen, you can at least tell us those behind the attacks. Those that have had a first hand experience of these attacks all said they were Fulani herdsmen, but you sit your lazy ass down in your comfort zone to tell us they're not. This slavery no be here.

PEOPLE what can you all say about this??

When the first ever bomb went off in Eagle's square on October first, MEND claimed responsibility ONLY FOR A SITTING PRESIDENT TO ANNOUNCE TO THE WORLD THEY WERE INNOCENT WITHOUT FIRST CARRYING OUT ANY INVESTIGATION!

Where were these people condemning the Northern governors today when that happened??

Now we have another big question!

my friend, a typical igbo man will blow any attack from the north out of proportion just to get international empathy and also to justify what happened during the civil war.

What is happenning in enugu today can't fill half the cup of what happened and still happening in benue and nasarawa.

Over the years the population of igbos on social media has grown enormously and nnamdi kanu also encouraged most igboz to get on the social media, this is why the enuvu attack is so announced, it's not as if they Concentrate attacks in enugu.

You will find it difficult to win igbo in any issue on social media, they are getting involved by the day.
Because other tolerate killing of their people doesn't mean ibos should keep quiet. What DA fvck are you guys talking about? So many people were macheted and gruesomely killed and you still blame them for talking about it. Would you have preferred they kept quiet like Agatu and other silly regions who don't care about the lives of their people. Stop being a disgrace to the real Obafemi Awolowo.

The best president of Africa, Goodluck Jonathan. He had an opinion after the incident. Even if it was wrong. What do we have now? An incompetent old man who is totally unaffected by the suffering of Agatu people. Never even visited, C P of police even denied any killing as didn't see corpses in Agatu. The nation is cursed with the worst leadership with APC blundering and bungling everything.

The problem of the Op is similar to that of the sultan and the 19-nonsense governors. When u claim it is not Fulani herdsmen who is committing the atrocities, why don't u simply tell us who it is then? maybe it is the Ibos, yoruba, Igala, Tiv, or any other tribe in Nigeria.

It is just so Sad that we r arguing this obvious facts now because those religious personalities who had failed to condemn this acts at inception only rose up over the weekend to deny the locality of the criminals. It is not ur fault however, but i still expect u to be more reasonable than this.

How does u not having seen Fulanis with Weapon in ur life counts in this discourse? (Are u everywhere, or have faced such attack before?). I can't just start mentioning all to u, but all premise of argument in this ur epistle are totally faulty & wrong

Someone says "Buhari's people are killing your people and that is who you are asking us to support."

You see, that is the picture these events are meant to point in our minds, reason why "Fulani" must be attached to all incidences of clashes involving herdsmen!!

They desire us to hate Buhari because "his people" are "killing people".

Comments like this makes the incidences all the more suspicious!
I wasn't going to respond to you as I know that you have an agenda but this is just too much. In response to your statement above, it may be because no Fulani dignitary has come out to call out the herdsmen. By keeping silent, Buhari included, they raise suspicion on whether they have a part to play in these killings. Think of it this way, if Ipob had slaughtered a load of people in Lagos and none of the South-Eastern governors called them out, wouldn't you find that suspicious?

I recognise that not all Fulani people are murderers but their leaders seem to be very suspicious to me and so one must proceed with caution.

You pay mind to the hypocrites? The Northern governors were only emphasizing the fact that it is absolutely senseless to attribute the attacks to Fulani herdsmen because of the activities of some terrorists masquerading as legitimate herdsmen.

Trust them to spin that into the governors absolving the perpetrators of blame. As I said earlier, it's all an exercise in futility.
