Nigeria’s and CSKA Moscow striker, Ahmed Musa is on the radar of Leicester City for next season.

Leicester who may win the English league crown in a few hours today are said to have revived their interest in the Nigerian international as they plan for the Champions League next season.

The 23-year-old was a target for Claudio Ranieri in January but Leicester believed CSKA’s asking price was too high as they pushed for £20million.

Musa is fast, can play across the frontline and has scored 12 goals in 32 games this season. He also has Champions League experience, something lacking in Ranieri’s squad for now.

The Mail Online reported that Leicester sent scouts to watch Musa against Lokomotiv Moscow earlier this month to keep up to date with his performances.

Leicester had two bids rejected in January but will hope to strike a compromise at around £18m for Musa in the coming weeks.

Let us see if FIFA will give the best Manager award to Ranieri or they will continue with their tradition of sham awards.

This is a coach that has no one in the team earning 60,000 pounds per week come up with victories over teams that pay players 150,000 to 300,000 pounds per week. A team with no single super star go on to defeat star studed teams like Arsenal, ManCity, Man U, Tottenham etc to with the EPL.

Ranieri is the best Manager today.

Away from the tradition of people like Jose who only buy ready made and accomplished players. What is the genius in that?

He has been on their radar since January ....I think that is a good move for them and Musa will be a added advantage to their attacking line thus the presence of maharez . He's d power house of the champion .

Great, yesterday i mentioned that the future success of Leicester FC at top flight football in BPL and UCL depends the number of Nigerians and Africans in its line-up.
