Monthly salaries: Gov's calousness to Civil servants

Pls I want to make my submission very concise.

There is no attitude that is more suicidal to employing a person and refuses to pay the wages, not even a month but to the extent of five months.

It's reported that 27 states in Nigeria are unable to pay workers salaries. How realistic is it?

Statistics reveal that Nigeria State Governors receive their monthly allocations unfailingly from the Federal Government and yet they could not even pay half of the salaries.

Is construction of roads and bridges more relevant than human lives?

The shameful part of it is that, these Governors never a month do without claiming their monthly
Security votes ranging from N500M to N800M, which is unaccounted for. This is more important to them than workers wages.

This is calousness! Some same Governors cherish chartering aircraft for irrelevant events and trips, all at the expense of workers wages. Some trip round the world claiming they are looking for investors, while meeting girlfriends all around the globe.

Imagine some Northern Govs could pay workers salary while some Southern Gov even with more allocations and IGR, falling foul. Here you see them on a trip with over 15 convoys.

Imagine OYO owing 5months, Benue 5months, even Ekiti not left behind. Now I would this same states be able to pay N56,000 as minimum wages.

To me this Governors are wicked. With regular monthly allocation and IGR yet, not even half salary could be paid.

How many months is your state owing?

This we need to call a spade a spade, they are selfish, wicked, insane and calous

While I come with this is that, Yesterday a civil servant lost her life as a result of lack of money to pay hospital bills. Both husband and wife were being owed 5months salaries.

even the devil would be amazed at the deliberate and evil wickedness of Nigeria governors, in ondo since sept civil servants are yet to be paid, what kind of wickedness is that, how do they expect their families to feed ... the problem of this country is worse than hell.

There is God indeed!



To me personally, it's inhuman, as well as insensitivity to fellow humans.

No one really cares; politicians are after their own gains. Masses are left to suffer. A governor even said workers salary is not a right, that it's a privilege( rochas okorocha),but den theirs is a right!
Ekiti is owing 4months and owing some odas 5months.
Dats d situation we found ourselves in,hopefully it will get better.

Politicians are greed my conclusion.

Osun for example can acquire 200,000 heactres of land set up a coco plantation. .. do I know how much this will yeild in the next 5 years??

Oyo can do same. . ..
