3. Remember the feeling when you lost a lot of money in an online casino or through sports betting.

4. Read as much as you can about gambling addiction.

7. Have a close family member handle your money.

8. Make a list about how your gambling problem has affected your life in a negative way.

10. See a counselor that specializes in addictions, especially gambling, and talk to this person about your problem.

I'm not addicted to gambling and can never be. I know when to press on the breaks and slow down. I play sports betting at will with amounts I can afford to lose. Fortunately for me I only play when I have enough money not when I have little and seriously need more
