It beats me how fools keep celeberating their foolishness as smartness. The govt. that gave them the contract was not looking for folks to dash money. Please let this sink into your skull for good - the idea of the impoverised indigenous survillence contracts (no mattar how unconventional it was) was to guarantee peace and security of oil facilites in the ND area - and we all enjoyed that peace and security in ND for 7 years.

Now you have removed those "silly contracts" in your smartness, how come peace is now eluding us?

Bible says that the path of wisdom is full of peace and pleasantness.

In other words, if your policy is not breeding peace where you NEED it that's a sure biblical proof that you are not yet wise enough. It does not matter if you think you are the best thing that had ever happened to humanity since aristotle.

After killing them has d destruction stopped. Those in power believe every problem is solved with force instead of addressing the root of the problem. Unfortunately there are some set of people you can't just intimidate with gun and they will bow. Let's see how this plays out

Buhari is a man with very low leadership skills. He thinks every problem can be solved by the barrel of the gun. The man has made enemies with virtually everybody in the south of Nigeria. Yet, the man thinks he is on the right track. We are watching

Buhari has leadership skills more than most Nigerians. In fact the best leaders are from the Army and Buhari started grooming his own from the age of 16.
The mistake of growing up under a PDP government especially Jonathan's is to think leadership is begging criminals and rapists . Leadership is actually killing those guys and putting them in hospital. It is compelling people to embrace a vision that is beneficial to everyone and for those who are deviants you knock them on the head. Putin is doing this that is why is people like him

90000 barrels per day shut in is not a 20-year low. This guys don't know a thing about oil production in Nigeria.
As for Tom Polo and AND militants, they have chosen a wrong time. The Nigerian Army will fish them out and they won't even know where their death and destruction came from.
The NA has some new technologies and they need the practice.
I pray so

This useless Buhari forgot and would never learn that people who own the land that they occupy have the sovereignty over the land it's resources but above all, they have the right to self determination.
Now let General Buhari go ahead and level Niger Delta and take their oil. One day some one will come and level Lagos to lift its oil.
When injustice becomes a law, resistance becomes a duty.
The militancy in Niger Delta has greater capacity to harm the government than Boko Haram and the dirty Fulani herdsmen.
The theory of the common man suffering from such action is the oppressor's helpless response to a debilitating disruption of order. Obasanjo levelled Odi, yet Odi will out live Obasanjo. Wise men resolve conflicts with dialogue, not use of force.

No Tears For Vandalized Pipelines

The truth is, Buhari is too dumb, tactless and uncreative to rule a complicated Nigeria.

The Yar'Adua GEJ roadmap is/was inspired. You see Abacha fail to end militancy with killing of Saro Wiwa. You see Obasanjo fail to end militancy with bombing of Odi. Shell RAN from Odi and environs after that Obasanjo bombing. You see Yar'Adua propose a peace-pact and saw GEJ implement same and not one gunshot is used in bringing peace that bombs and murder of Ken Saro wiwa failed to do, yet, due to a lack of true formal education or a paucity of neurons a president feels bombing Calabar and threatening Kings and locals in the Niger Delta and sending the navy there is better than respecting Yar'Adua/GEJ peace pact and u expect me to not smile ruefully when Chevron is grounded and Pipeline to Kaduna vandalized? Really?

So there is legitimate reasons to commit genocide ?

Is it the innocent children and women who know nothing of this attack that must suffer in order for oil to keep flowing?

Can you see how crass you Yorubas are?

If genocide worked in the civil war it won't be allowed to happen today in the Niger Delta.

And since you wish this for us then I pray your entire family, clan, local govt, state and region are rightfully wiped off the planet .

They are stoppable and we Nigerians can and would stop them. If these pipes were initially buried about 50metres or more, say 1km, underground all these nonsense would never occur* but because the government then felt nigerians were patriotic and would protect their properties* relaxed- but now, what do we have? Misfits all right who kept Nigeria's production stable while they held sway. The reality is that the Nigerian Armed Forces can't protect the thousands of km of pipelines across the Niger Delta. Host communities and "misfits" are in a better position to do so. Nigeria is far from an ideal society, a wise government would have worked with what was currently available.
If u want to protect ur goods u better hand it over to the theft, the earlier we go back making use of our local communities to protect our stuffs the better, on that pipeline protection things GEJ was wise by handing it over to them
Buhari can only back on that bt remember that u cannot beat a man at his backyard

your questions are immoral It sounds like asking

which is better paying a rapist not to rape or locking up the rapist?

Obviously it is better govt building it capacity to enforce the law than pay criminal rapist not to violate law. I stand with law and order not bending to thieves murderers and rapists.

Once again if the US defeat the Iraqi army in its on turf then how did it ever become impossible for Nigeria to surmount criminal vandals?

All nah Buhari fault

1. He stated that the SS/SE region do "not deserve more than is constitutionally required" from him since they did not vote for him. This is despite the fact that the SS region provide well over 80% of total foreign exchange.

2. The satanic APC that he rode on its back to power did not bother to attend the confab on constitutional reform.

3. He has since stated he will not implement the resolutions of the confab report.

4. He was quick to identify a non existing threat in the Niger Delta by sending a detachment of AirForce helicopters and ground troops to obliterate a peaceful riverine community in the Niger Delta first claiming it was a kidnappers den, a pirates base and also a militant training camp. This is despite the fact that the region had remained relatively peaceful since the amnesty agreement.

5. He has shown total disregard for the wishes of the Niger Delta people by canceling outright gubernatorial and legislative elections in bayelsa, Akwa, Ibom, Delta, Rivers and Cross Rivers. In his daft mind Kano elections where more free and fair with underage voters and high turnouts than any in the Niger Delta. Why then did he not cancel the presidential elections in the Niger delta as well and call for a rerun and see if the ND won't reject him even more.

6. The rerun elections in places like Rivers and Bayelsa showed a desperate attempt to undermine the wishes of the Niger delta people by his lame attempt in installing his stooges which the people rightly rejected. He sent heavy deployment of troops and police alongside his biased nepotic INEC to achieve his goals of subjugating the people but they chased him out.

7. He then created a separate new division of the army to occupy the Niger Delta as if the region was war ravaged like their boko region in the NE.

8. He has shown selective justice in prosecuting alleged corrupt individuals concentrating on past Niger Delta officials in the last adminstration.

9. He continues to show tacit support with his lunatic criminal kinsmen by shielding them from prosecution in the region.

10. He then had the audacity of wanting to carve out grazing reserves for his people in my region.

As we can see this man is the architect of his problems .

The Niger Delta has even been too patient in my liking with this sectional goat who normally ought to be in the Hague standing trial for crimes of genocide.

Haba! Wetin?
