This is new to me, email reply to WES? Well, in my case it was a 'paper mail' reply to WES. And I paid to DHL it to WES.

I'll advise you to wait for another month, see if WES will acknowledge their email and update your evaluation. If not, arrange with your school to reply by paper mail. Tell them you'll pay for express mail so you can track the delivery to WES.

Goodluck!

jugzy:

My school sent the verification to WES via email. I checked the online portal for about two weeks after the email was sent but the status did not change to reflect that they have received the verification. We then sent it via courier and after about 3 working days of receiving the doc, my status change to ''documents received, evaluation in progress''. i think you should send it via courier. The school should put it in their branded envelope and stamp the envelope flap at the back(please check wes website for more details about this).

Guys,

Just to provide a feedback on this. I got in touch with my contact at my school's records office, paid another round of money for sending the paper verification to WES via courier. They did the same, And after some few days, WES got back and confirmed "Accepted" on my documents, moving away from the initial "Received Documents Awaiting Verification".

My friend,

I know a colleague who was almost in the same scenario as yours. He was earning decently in Nigeria, at least more than 900k-1m monthly. He couldn't find a job that will pay in that close in Canada, with expenses factored in relatively. His family's moved permanently to Canada, while he still works in Nigeria. So he makes short trips to Canada whenever he gets the free time. He continues to complain about how stressful and expensive the trips are, so he is also looking for opportunities in Canada while still keeping his Nigerian job.

I suggest you keep your Nigeria job until you find a concrete opportunity in Canada.

Pretty good but the fact is that engineering is a regulated profession in Sask so he must be licensed to qualify to apply for Sask PNP.except he will go for a non-regulated engineering occupation. He should look at these nocs on the SINP in-demand occupation list 2232 and 8232.His qualification is well above the nocs,I am only suggesting.

Hello house, need sm clarification about POF, will my treasury bill hold water, or should it be in fixed deposit?

It will hold water. It will also hold a lot more water if you could cash it and place it in a fixed deposit. And submit the fixed deposit certificate instead. Fixed deposits seem to work very well with them.

Others can add their expert opinions.

My 1 cent.

Cheers!

300k is not what you should jeopardize Canada for, the total value of what you'll enjoy over there is certainly worth more than 300k. Come to even think of it, how much will be left of your salary if you are to pay school fees for 4 children at a go? My suggestion is that you do Canada.

Meanwhile, I suggest your wife be the Principal Applicant cuz age is on her side and Law degrees get same point with Masters. You may also apply as PA if your occupation is one listed by some of the provinces. You both should aim at scoring highest obtainable score in IELTS.

Are you implying electronic verification doesnt work? After a long back and forth, my school finally sent an electronic mail verification last week wednesday or thursday. I noticed my online status changed on thursday from "awaiting verification from institution" to " evaluation in progress". I hope i am not tucked on a spot for long again, since I am expecting ielts result this friday.

I guess mine was a peculiar case. Trust me, my school sent several electronic mail verifications which were never acknowledged. Only the paper mail put an end to this.

After the email verifications, it never changed even after several contacts with WES to inform them email verifications had been sent. Only after the paper verification did the online status change.

WES accepts email verification from some Naija schools and not others. If your status has changed, it means your school is amongst those they accept.

IELTS is administered by BC.If you reside in Nigeria,it is the only acceptable test for Canada immigration and it must be the GT module for work related migration.why not choose any convienent date in July to allow time for preparation before the test.

Ibadan & Portharcourt still has open slots for June 25, 2016. IELTS (General). I have a feeling between Today and Tomorrow, there might be a recap for June 4 date @ Ibadan centre if some of those who applied as at last week fail to pay within 5 working days. Note: Ibadan had 12% availability for june 4 as at last week monday morning.

You will need both certificate and transcript for evaluation.
Depending on your CRs score. I will say there is no harm evaluating your Bsc too. You might need every little score.
I for one evaluated both my OND and bsc, and I ended up getting evaluated for two or more certificate which will increase my score somewhat. So no harm evaluating both your bachelor and spouse Masters. I guess there is nothing you can do but wait until your spouse transcript is ready.

Hello,
I saw in your post that both your bsc and OND was evaluated as two or more certificate. Was your OND acquired after Bsc or before, cos mine was evaluated as 4 year bsc.please kindly clarify this .
