Wait and see how the enemies of ND will come around and be hurling their usual slogan of ''you are yoruba'' at you.

Please bomb the pipeline, bomb the water and even bomb the air. It is your land and the attendant impact and hazards will also be your portion.

It will not be well with whoever says you should not bomb.

There is oil in Ondo, Lagos and Ogun. Exploration is expected to commence in Lake Chad by Q3. Dangote refinery is expected to come on board by Q4 of 2017. With that Nigeria can even be importing crude and refine it for the local market.

Amnesty programme will go down in the history as the greatest disservice to this nation.

Tompolo Foundation Sponsors 400 Surgeries

…Spent Over N130m On Community Hospital In One Yr – Bebenimibo

By Joshua Ikpemeku, Warri

The Tompolo Foundation, a non profit, non-government organisation has said that they have handled about 400 surgeries including Caesarian Session in the past one year after taking over the Okerenkoko Cottage Hospital.

That the foundation has spent over N130 million in running the hospital.

The Executive Secretary, Tompolo Foundation, Comrade Paul Bebenimibo, disclosed this during a chat with Frontiersnews on Friday.

According to him, “Our President formed the foundation on two thematic basis to handle education and health need of our people.

“Its exactly one year since the foundation took over the abandoned hospital now, we have spent over N130 million in running it.

“We have handled over 400 surgeries free of charge. We don’t charge a dime for any treatment, drugs and cards.

“Over 310 persons from Warri has benefited from our free treatment also. The hospital has handled several deliveries aside cases of Malaria and Cholera.”

Bebenimibo added that the foundation has trained 50 science teachers after giving free books, sandals, bags, and uniforms to 15 primary schools in Gbaramatu kingdom.

“We have donated hospital equipment, drugs to hospitals. We also donated education materials to many schools.

“Our vision is to alleviate the pains of the people. We took to education because of the insinuations that our people lack education that is why they take to arm struggle.”

The Executive Secretary added that the foundation is preparing to launch a N25million blood screening equipment in the coming weeks.

He calls on the Delta State government to take over the running of the hospital to enable the foundation concentrate on other areas.

“We still run the hospital because of the pains we have for our people. We want the government to come and take over the running of the hospital to enable us do other things.”

It will be recalled that due to the lack of health care facilities in Warri South West Area, and the abandonment of the cottage hospital at Okerenkoko, the foundation took it over

Thanks for those words, they mean alot and I am happy you said them.
Now I have the noted effort of some(1 actually), can you please try to focus on entire writeup and see if your pretty brain can comprehend? I only asked "please correct me and show me statistics to warrant us spending 19B on them and will spend 1B on running cost"
I have not condemned them, but we must move forward as a region, rather than spend 20B annually on 30,000 youths sometimes even on schemes that are not useful to them and the community. For each riverine community I have been to with a single generating set, the technician who also serves as electrician most were not trained by government and deserve some trainings and benefits too.
Thats my point so stop focusing on calling me names because its not helping. And yes thank you again for the names, and hope you atleast wen to Cross River to help the last time the government forces attacked the villagers in name of pursuing militants, because while many of us mobilized to go render care, I didnt see you. Were you on ground during Ateke and Assari feud and how many villages were sacked?
Whatever happens in this new violence, we shouldnt forget, majority of our people depend on salaries from federal allocation gotten from sales of these crude(including those ghost workers in LGAs). No one deserves to be lost in this struggle.
