Is this new way banks are scamming their customers? last week i got an alart from my bank, opened it and what i saw got me angry.....
YOUR ACCT 3*******434 HAS BEEN DEBITED WITH N1056.55 ON 01-MAY-2016 06:26:51 BY 3*****434: WTax.pd:01-04-2016 to 30-04-20. BAL: NGN1***,***.56CR

THIS IS A SAVINGS account and i thought i should be getting some interest but what i am getting is deduction.
who else have experience this, what does it mean and did u do anything about it?

Savings account no longer exists in Nigerian banking system.
You pay them for saving your money nowadays.
It's now called DEBIT ACCOUNT .

Stop saving your money and instead invest it.

Opening account with an active stock broker will do you more good than allowing APC and banks to drain your little kudi

Access has been charging me for weekend stamp duty.
I wonder when this was passed to law again.
Any man or woman bringing predatatorship idea /policy to Nigeria,eating up our small funds from where they did not sow,they shall die in shame by fire.

I calculated the scam, assuming they deduct same amount for 12 months that will be above 12k in a year.

Lol.. but not funny though.. back then when i always get interest in my fidelity bank and union bank, even this particular bank.

DEY AR FRAUDSTERS........ LUK @ D MAIL IT MUST B DIFFERENT TO UR REAL BANK MAIL. I RECEIVE SAME BT JUST CHECK D MAIL.

it is scam oo, not from access bank or any other bank oo. I have been receiving such mails in the past few weeks. Thank God for blackberry, one thing I do is to just place my blackberry cursor on the customize sender's email address, then it will show/reveal the true email address of the sender (some funny emails).
or I will just place the blackberry cursor on the link provided in the email without clicking, then I will press the blackberry button, then an option to show link address will come up, I will just click on that and it will show where the address will take me to if I click on it.

I almost fall for one alleged to be from gtbank like that.

Actually my own is not access bank and it is not by mail. it is through sms.
