So adultery is an offence in the army huh
it is only when they have relations wth the spouse of their fellow military personel that it becomes an offence

Yes. You get a dishonorable discharge for that (thrown out of the army). It is standard world wide. And no, it doesn't only apply to military personnel; even if civilians are involved, you get thrown out. So if a military man fvcks your wife (or woman fvcks your husband), best way to fvck him/her up is to report to his/her superiors.

The U.S. Armed Forces hold their service members to a higher ethical level than people in civilian life.Adultery in the military is a criminal offense under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Adulteryis defined as sexual relations between a married person and someone other than his or her spouse. Adultery also occurs if you are the not married party but have sexual relations with a person who is married, or even legally-separated from his or her spouse. Being “legally-separated,” is never an excuse under the UCMJ.

The reason the military is strict about adultery, is because such conduct is considered prejudicial to good order, to discipline, and could bring embarrassment and discredit to the Armed Forces.

At last, God heard from the grave the voices of the innocent people you've killled.

Kamal has a way of finding people.

Only the blood of the innocent people you've killed could have pushed you into this kind of result-getting adultery.

this is Nigeria and not the USA,there is no law to back up your submission that it applies to spouses of civilians, sec 79 of the armed forces act will help u understand this better.

Section 91 is the equivalent of Article 134 of the US Military's UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice). Read that.

US
Adultery in the military is actually prosecuted under Article 134, which is also known as the "General Article." Article 134 simply prohibits conduct which is of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces, or conduct which is prejudicial to good order and discipline.

Nigeria
91. Scandalous conduct of officer
An officer subject to service law under this Act who behaves in a scandalous manner,
unbecoming of the character of an officer and a gentleman, is guilty of an offence under this
section and liable, on conviction by a court-martial, to be cashiered.
